Once in a while a song it so good that writing it is like magic.
That's just what happened to Blayne when he wrote "Molokai on my Mind." He told us that this was, "a song that almost wrote itself. If you spend enough time connecting with the Island, she will speak to you. I just happened to be listening and put her words down in a song."

Blayne is amazing. I love everything that I've heard him perform, but this piece is my favorite! I can't resist grabbing my guitar and playing along when I listen to "Molokai On My Mind". Absolutely peaceful and beautiful just like the island.

Just want to say a few words. I have been journeying with HI*Sessions for quite a few years now, and although I've never actually been to Hawai'i I get this feeling that I belong there (no matter how cheesy that sounds). I keep writing music for the land of Hawai'i, and hope to visit someday. Thank you Blayne Asing for helping me picture being there even more closely. I hope to play a concert there and be able to experience the life of real Hawai'i.
