6th Schedule assured by the Congress party in the national manifesto is not a small thing, it's a big achievement for all of us, and the demand of Statehood is not over this will continue to remain in the future too. We all will continue to demand the statehood. I am sure Congress will resume the talks with high power committee for sure.

As a Ladakhi, I dont want Ladakh to merge with J&K. There are many drawbacks for Ladakh in J&K.. These statement is in haste.. Union Territory of Ladakh may take time to become state itself eventually maybe in a decade..6 th schedule is an urgent need of the hour .. If we go back to J&K then Ladakh would have no chance of becoming a state in itself .
