I’ve listened to a Cult song in my life till one month ago. 1/1/25 and I can’t stop listening to them. Researching their Catalog. What a incredible Band. Perfect example of what a POS business the music business is and they control the airplay and what they perceive is what people should listen to. This is a Super Band in every aspect of what a Band should be. The Bass and Drummer are amazing but that Guitar Player is a fucking amazing player. His incredible ability to mix parts and solo simultaneously is as good as a Jimmy Page easily. Way underrated. The Singer can easily compete with Jagger or Plant. I would go as as to say better. Only drawback is the music style. I love this Band. Music should make you feel good. Certainly in times of distress you can feel better with a tune a identify with your issues but The Music of The Cult makes me feel happy. Pleasured. I’ve been put them on You Tube and the Girls here in Thailand love them. Ask who I’m listening to. It’s makes them HORNY YEA BABY!!
OMG How cool is THIS?? Looks like they were playing in someone's living room, it's no wonder the audience was so fired up. They sounded fantastic as well. I'm SO impressed!
Get over it with your tired cliches. They have often do small gigs for their true fans. Seen then at the 100 Club, a truly excellent gig better than any of the dozens of times I have seen them at larger venues.
Um show do The cult é um show do The cult!!! Só quem foi em pelo menos "um" show do The cult, sabe da atitude profissional e a arte poética de fazer música esses kras tem! Viva o rock N roll! Viva The cult e viva a boa música! Hello Nadira, my friend? Yes? No? 😎🤘 Di3go Kost3l@... 🤘😎🖤🎵🎸🎹
From the mid '90s to the begining of 2000s (where i have seen them in the like intimate show at Musique Plus Montreal with Matt Sorum) , they seem to have lost it. Ian had health problems due to years of abuse. But seing this video, they without doubt got it back.
I used to walk ten miles to see my girlfriend everyday and only to walk back another ten miles in the early hours of the morning. I came home from the raf, and had just bought for my Walkman "ceremony " and used to listen to it whilst meeting her. I realised, then the cult was a part of my life as she was, and is now my wife of 32 years. Edie was my wife's grandmother and was my favourite track on ceremony at the time........ I have met 5 famous people but none as exciting as listening to the cult. Perhaps I'm dull, but music is my life 🤷🏻♂️
Wow it works well at low volume and well mixed, have they ever done an unplugged? Ian sounds very good at this level and he is really doing masterful vocal control to get the same dynamics. Been a fan since Love.
I don't know why my expectations were low. I guess I expect the sound to be bad since it looked like a fan shot vid. But that was pretty good. I love the song. A college roommate gave me this album for Christmas the year it came out. Turned me on to The Cult for sure. Sweet Soul Sister, Fire Woman, and Edie (Ciao Baby) are all bangers too.
Damn, that's a small stage... I hate playing on one but I'm glad that doesn't happen too often.... Would've been happy to play on that stage with these guys tho...
I never cared much for the Cult all through the different stages of the Ian + Billy creative thing ( from Southern Death Cult through the Death Cult and finally the godawful The Cult 90s rock band) But now I really like how they sound and move now - really kickass - pure gritty energy. The recent live versions of She sells sanctuary and Rain are epic.
Billy Duffy only gets better.
Much better with a nice haircut! Who needs blonde?!
Billy is underrated. He's got amazing tones in every song.
Not underrated at all. He's one of the greatest rock singers in the last 50years
@@nsrfreak Billy plays guitar and rarely sings, Ian sings a lot more on the contrary and is indeed one of the best rock singers ;-)
@@nsrfreak Billy is the guitarist, not the singer
it's a crime that good music like this isn't part of pop music rotation cuz it's just something that everyone SHOULD relate to!!
damn shame for sure...

When I was training to be a Sheriff in Alberta I would listen to this song to start my morning run.
I see the sun begin to shine
Not the biggest show but The Cult live. I would've paid a fortune to be there!!!!
I am jumping while sitting in my desktop chair... what a band... what a song... lovely crowd... you are lucky if you get to embrace this energy live!

Just saw them at Meadowbrook north of Detroit. They kicked ass! Sun King!🎸🎸🎵🎼🎶
I was at this show, happened to be in London from Canada that weekend! Amazing time :)
Criminally small stage for The Cult legends....these guys deserve stadiums! Good for the lucky fans though
This was a surprise intimate show. The next day they played Hammersmith Apollo and that's a huge stage and venue :)
Get over it with your tired cliches. They have often do small gigs for their true fans. Seen then at the 100 Club, a truly excellent gig better than any of the dozens of times I have seen them at larger venues.
A hidden gem of a video.
Ian sounds just like he did when he sang “ Wild Flower” back in the day. ❤😊
They still sound awesome after all these years, just uber
I'm a cult member. Love this band and all their music. Just saw them recently, it was great.

Perfect song 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
Greetings from Germany ❤️
I heard the singer, Ian, toured with the Doors for some shows as the singer in 2005
I don't know why my expectations were low. I guess I expect the sound to be bad since it looked like a fan shot vid. But that was pretty good. I love the song.
