Omg this is a crazy way to do it, I can’t wait to try! Lol . Basically patting a paper towel all around the cake. I love it

@@SeriousCakes Unfortunately my buttercream did not crust. I am not sure why it didn't so I could not try it.

I like your work , can we make the same with whipped cream😞

The smoothing technique would not work with whipped cream because that kind of frosting will never form an crust.

I do the same thing only with parchment paper. Does the paper towel leave any fuzz?

I noticed you pointed to the thin bit as you put your comment in about it... do you normally know what your going to say as your doing it? or was that a reminder. saw you do this with the turtle cake! my tissue had spirals on it but I thought it added a nice effect for what I was doing.... could only see it up close though lol. haha I just pictured myself shoving ppls faces closer to the cake to see the print...

kimytaf lol! "Look at my cake! Look!!" I think about what I'm going to say all throughout the filming, I need to make notes though because I normally don't remember everything. I had been trying to film me showing what number of tip I'm using by making the numbers with my fingers, but I always forget and edit those bits out! *headdesk*
