Nice vid, I grew up in the airbase and throughout my teenage years (1985 - 1996), definately brings back memories, a real pity that it's going to be gone. Thanks for this.
My Dad worked at Seletar so this brings back good memories. Does the pool still exist? Does anyone have any photos of the Seletar infant school from the mid 1960s? Our house in Seragoon Gardens is still standing - most of the neighbours have converted their bungalows to houses (2 floors), but our old home is still as the original when I last saw it in 2000.
@Sandra Arthur I lived on Serangoon Garden Way (the house next to the shops & opposite the Chinese Church No 72/3). I live in Australia now & have been back many times & our old house is now a mansion! I also was a member of the Seletar Kingfishers so spent most days at the saltwater pool, great times I must say. As we Brits left Singapore in 1971 I'm assuming that those who lived at Seletar later must be Aussies or Kiwis! Sadly I'm to old to have any photos of Seletar infant school but my sister may have some! PS I was last there earlier this year (2017) :- D
This videos brings back so many memories, I grew up there 89/94. Best years of my life. 😢
More videos please 😍 has Seletar changed much now?
