Hi Steve, Adam Oake here. I designed and had made the victory puppies sign. I however did not have anything to do with the stick. Happy you still have it up. I do listen to the Pod and been watching for about 7 years now. Im currently in Ukraine fighting the good fight. Cant catch the games anymore because of time difference but still watching your videos. I appreciate your effort as always.

Hey Steve, you should throw some strapping on the ceiling joists before you put that ceiling piece back in. It will make it flush with the top plate so that you have two spots you can put drywall screws in. Hope that helps!

I used to get a lot of the McFarlane figurines when I was a kid. I live in the SE US so not every store would have them but when they did I’d be so psyched. I remember going to the Pentagon City Mall in DC and being so stoked about getting an Ovi figurine (it was Spring 2008 and I am a Caps fan). I feel kinda bad because I took a lot of my figurines out of their boxes when I was a kid and now I m like “well, I could still have shelves of them.” I miss the old figurines, the new McFarline ones don’t look the same or have the same attention to detail.

I have that EXACT hockey card frame. I also have zero clue how I got it. I think my parents may have got it for me as Christmas gift a long time ago. I change the cards from time to time. I try to put the most rare or obscure ones in there, but then also my fav Habs or just players I enjoy watching and respect.

The Red Wings player in the Matthews 60th who you don't know is Michael Rasmussen. I know because I'm a wings fan who was there and I felt the same way; my first NHL game ever, wings get shutout and Matthews gets 60
Yeah I remember the first time I went to the HOF I was about 12 or 13 with my cousin and uncle. My uncle tried to get me to touch the cup but me being a die in the wool Leafs fan said "I'm not touching it till they win." so I didnt touch it but when I was in college I got to go to the HOF for class as one of our assignments was all about the HOF and the questions were designed so that u couldn't just look them up (I mean 20 dollar day pass for go train and 20 dollar to get into the HOF isnt that much but then again we're in college so....) BUT THE ACTUAL CUP WAS BEING REFURBURISHED AT THE TIME. For those of u who don't know there's technically Three stanley cups. One is a replica that does all the touring at schools etc (except if the NHL player wins the cup and does his day with the cup at a school which is rare considering the tour is usually during the summer) so sorry kids anytime u see the cup in ur school no that's not the actual cup its a replica they use for schools hospitals etc. the second one is a replica the HOF uses to have a "stanley cup" in the HOF at all times. this one is mostly used during the Cup finals and the summer months when the players are touring with the cup. Then the third one is the actual Stanlyey cup players get etc. If ur'e at a school event etc if Phillip Pritchard (the keeper of the cup) isnt there that's not the actual cup but the touring one.
