I am about to start my first t shirt quilt. I have watched quite a few videos and have found yours to be the most helpful and enjoyable to watch! Thanks!
I have a similar sewing machine and to enable the walking foot you have to press down that black/grey thing behind your presser foot. The quilt looks great!
I think I have that part figured out...It just doesn't seem to sew very well. Like the fabric gets caught and doesn't move forward. Does yours do that?? Any tips?
@@1922project I haven't had that issue. But you do have to be sure you are using ine of the presser feet that has the opening at the back to accommodate the walking foot thing (not sure of the actual name Ha Ha!)
Wish I could show you a picture of the collage T shirt quilt I made for my son. It’s made from T shirts of burger and fast food places across the country.
It's a used machine with some weird quirks! The walking foot is one of them. It just doesn't work properly but I'm definitely going to try and work it out before my next quilt!
Have you tried the pool noodles for sandwiching your quilts My daughter made one a couple weeks ago and we used that method and it was really so easy. She used the method that "The Sewing Channel" here on Ytube, used in her demonstration.
Thank you for showing how to sew the tshirt quilt top together!!

Oh I wish I could see it too!! That sounds amazing!!
I'm so sad because you don't use the even feed on you machine 😥
I find myself envious of that feature. 🙃

It’s your creation.

I've seen that done but haven't tried it myself! Seems like a great idea!
