For me, the video "my house walk-though" is one of the scariest* analog horror videos I've seen. *I say scary because I don't really know what else I would call it. Its really tense and the atmosphere is terrifying, but like, scary doesn't really define it.
It is immensely suspenseful and ddepply unsettling, with a good dash of just honest sadness. Now that I think about it, it reminds me of Skinamarink a good bit.
I think it’s also one of the most realistic in terms of the fact that humanity has changed around it, using some of the less… terrifying entities to our advantage.
Children Under The House is the only horror media I’ve seen to have a happy ending yet still be chillingly scary. It’s my favorite analogue horror as of now. I would also recommend The Grizzco Tapes, it’s surprisingly scary for an analogue horror series taking place within the world of a Nintendo game.
Possibly in Michigan was what lots of people consider the original analog horror short film. It is unironically one of my favorite films of all time, it is royally unsettling and shocking even though it happens during the day time. It is absolutely unsettling and terrifying for if you ever want to do a part 3 of this series
i'm not sure if you've talked about it before but the monument mythos is a really good very unsettling one (although i would say its story aspects are better then its scariness)
I'd definitely recommend The Monument Mythos, it may not be as scary as some of the others but it manages to build a really compelling story through it's 3 seasons
Mandela catalouge and especially vita carnis are both AMAZING. Another one that’s pretty good is White Stag Education, although it is relatively new, so the lore is still being developed.
I have an odd feeling every time when it comes to analog horror. Every time I view anything like this it makes my eyes start to well up, like I want to cry or something. I have no idea why it’s the one main reaction I have it’s just is what it is.
It’s too much to bear sometimes lol. Regardless, great work on these videos, really digs deep into the better side of horror. Also I heard that the identity test is a good one, maybe look into that one for the next installment of your series 👍
urbanspook is the scariest one for me. some of the crimes described in it are not very far off of real life events. also its implied that a pair of 10 year old twins were murdered and the killer used the dead stitched together top half of the boy and bottom half of the girl for sexual purposes which is revolting to think about
@@dmon382 he’s series isn’t that bad, it gets boring since it’s all for shock value but it is scary and sort of realistic so my problem isn’t with the content it’s him selling merch of one of his painting that depicts csa. Also he was on 4chan before all this, and had a really fucked up youtube channel full of animations that are just so 😭 disgusting
urbanspook is probably the worst in terms of horror tbh. just structured shock value with plot armored-killer, and the creator gives off some extremely bad vibes.
I can confidently say that Gemini home entertainment was the first analog horror series I was able to sit through and fully enjoy without being scared :D (I didn’t watch the whole thing maybe like five or six episodes? But still, it’s one of my favorites, if not the best series)
its not a series but one of my favorite analog horror pieces is "What was the COTN incident?" it's tense and scary with not a lot of answer which i absolutely love

I’d really love to recommend you to Harmony and Horror, it’s probably my favorite narrative for an Analog Horror series. The horror might be kinda cliche but it surely gets better over time. The 3d animation too is amazing as it was made by Battington.
Sounds like the Gemini story draws a lot of inspiration from Junji Ito's "Remina." I recommend giving that a read if you're into that sort of thing! Love the video!
I highly recommend laceys games. they're super well made, and I could piece what was going on fairly well. there's two "games" so far, and you'll definitely get spooked. if you decide to check it out, good luck!

I’ve only seen a few installments from them, but it seems Vintage Eight centers around one very unlucky town in Louisiana, more like an anthology than a series.

A great story driven and honestly disturbing analog horrors I recommend are The Walten Files and Battington. Battington’s improvement throughout his series is just amazing to watch and the disturbing aspects of it are very interesting and intriguing to see. Some of the tapes have even kept me up at night, that says a lot from someone who hardly gets scared by horror stuff and loves it. Walten Files is just great with its heartbreaking story and even more disturbing visuals. The third episode has an equal combination of amazing, sad story telling and incredibly horrific visuals and sounds that make it hard not to cringe in disgust or fear at it. All in all these are great series I highly recommend. Great video and hope to see more.

Brrrooooo. Was not expecting to see Urban Spook in here. It’s easily my favourite horror short series on RUclips
I have no clue if you still wanna watch stuff, but Dont look up by kickhats and local 58 has to be the one YT video that will still chill me to the bone 5 years later
As a Minnesotan I can confirm that there are wood crawlers everywhere also try out woodlands National park
Okay, no through road terrified me because it’s set where I’m from, didn’t expect it to appear.
Urbanspook's analog horror is easily the scariest I have ever seen
same, im traumatized from it
I find it unusually hard to find analog horror, all I get are commentaries...
No through road is actually just your average night drive down country lanes
I recommend bons burgers. It’s heavily inspired by fnaf but it’s filled with incripted messages. Kinda like a puzzle on figuring out what happened to this man’s family.
