The Bush is ironclad too, that it can stop the shreddy 😜😎😂😂😂
On weekend I will finally order my shreddy. Than it starts for me. Jeah boy!
I just ordered this boat yesterday but with the Heatwave livery. Ive been wanting it since it was released. I already know i would like to get between 40 to 45 out of it. I dont need 60+ as i have a Proboat Zelos Twin that hits 65 with two big heavy 823 gram 6s 6000 mah 50c batteries already. I like the Zelos performance in stock form and if i did put a prop to get somewhere in the 80s with it, would be unusable where i run it. 65, maybe 70 is the absolute max i want to get to with a bigger boat and i feel like between 40 to 45 would be fine with the Recoil. I also have a Sprint Jet which is fun in the creek by my house, the bigger boats get used on the river.
Have fun brother, it's an awesome boat for sure.
Can u test props without alterations. Simply because idk how to do that lol.
the recoil 2 is a great boat.really fun
I agree.
Bought this boat for my dad and he loves it. I want to get him some more speed, what’s the best overall prop you’d recommend Big B?
Creases me every time I see shreedy in the bush 😂. Balance the sides bearing in mind you want somewhat more on the left side for prop lift, not just front and back BigB. Still loving the show ❤
good morning brother, awesome video, the recoil 2 is my next boat for sure
You'll enjoy it.
Nice video, I can’t get enough information on props, there are so many different little things about them that makes big differences in the handling. I know what I want in the way of a drag boat prop 40mm dia with a medium rake, the pitch most likely will be 1.4 - 1.6 now to find them in ccw and cw if you can steer me in a suppliers direction 👍
Ose, oxidean marine, and ebay. Search rc boat props on ebay cw/ccw. Tfl makes quite a few different counter rotating props.
Love the videos man! Do you by chance know what size pushrod connector is needed for this boat stock!
I think this is what you need, I changed mine out, but it's been a while.

Hi BIG B ! Does this boat loose the self righting feature when you change the motor and esc ? are you running it on 3 or 4S ?
Yes, I've yet to get the Self-righting to work with an inrunner motor
Wondering what prop you would recommend. I put in a larger 120a esc plus 4s but will stick with the stock inrunner for roll overs? Looking for speed? Thx!!
Unfortunately you may not be able to run 4s on the stock motor with the 120a esc. The motor tends to surge at full trigger.
@@IRONCLADRC I’ll find out this weekend.
Just bought mine a few weeks ago, love the recoil so far, do you have a problem with the weight? It seems to run bow high and then launch and crash quite often regardless of where the battery is placed (bow/stern)
Trim tab and turn fin is the absolute best upgrade for this boat.
Here's the upgrade video and links are in description
ruclips.net/video/nQNvbzQ69E8/видео.html
What size and where did you get the pink cooling lines from?? Love how well it matches the boat, absolutely need to get it for mine
8mm silicone cooling tube from OSE Offshoreelectrics.com
Do you have any recommendations for a prop similar to the stock one (same pitch/size)? I want same performance but it to just looks nicer than the stock one.
Not sure? I know several good props but not the same size and pitch
@@IRONCLADRC I checked the site. All it says is 1.6x1.6 but doesn’t say what mm. Oxidean suggested the 42mm 4214 with 1.4. What do you think?
Good video b love your videos
Notification squad 👍🔥💯✌
I have a question, I have run trucks, how many channels do boats run on?
Usually 2 channels one for the servo and one for the esc. We normally don't run gyros, which I've herd a few guys here lately trying them.
That's what I was thinking thanks. I have a DX3R from my truck days almost brand new.
This boat stock what prop would you run?
I'm gonna be honest, I can't remember what prop I liked when I ran the boat stock.. I upgraded mine soon after receiving the boat.
Right now my favorite prop is the oxidean 4216 (3 blade)
@@IRONCLADRC ok I’ll check it out thank you.
@@IRONCLADRC he must not sell that prop anymore can’t find it sadly
@@IRONCLADRC would a right or left be the way it spins ?
@@jakesrcaddiction7519 all single motor rc boats spin left hand. Left hand rotation
In a previous video you had mentioned positions of the new trim tabs and turn fins, do you think I could get away with new adjustable tabs/fins but keeping them in the stock position?
Yea, that should be good...
@@IRONCLADRC thank you!!
@IRONCLADRC saves me the hassle of re drilling through the hull which I wouldn't be too comfortable with
are you getting the highest speed a saw run with the most detongued prop? i would guess 38-42mm size? that just how i help control the load and temps. i ususally get my best results that way more tongue usually less speed........
have you been ssshhhh;} cupping the prop tips lol ? i rarely use anyting more than 42mm-45mm maybe 47mm if its a larger hull on 6s. most those 45mm are for 4s set ups. but looks like you detongued it by a 1/3 or more? winter storage after a season or 2 kills em,. even when there stored correctly sometimes
I've been noticing that when I cut the blade area down on my props that they pick up rpm, resulting in better top speed. I used to de-tounge my props, kinda got away from that because they tend to lift the boats too much. Lately, like I said, I've been reducing the blade width less blade = faster rotation ... keeping the diameter and tongue just cutting down the blade area. (And yes, I still cup the tips) not as much as I used to cup very small amount of cupping
@@IRONCLADRC that why i kept recommeding to try that fielect 42. it was very thin tongue wise
Fielect? Maybe a typo?
👍👍👌
Quien tuviera propelas suficientes para escoger.
When you went air born it reminded me of a x friend that built this huge boat with stingers and huge tp motors and 2 swordfish 300 esc’s and he put it in water and fired it up it went to 100% and hit a bank flew across the road to a drop off with rocks and the entire boat was totaled 😂😂 …. This happ to a complete douche mind you.
I love to see the boats crash, but i hate breaking things. Lol.
@@IRONCLADRC Amen to that!
