Yet this said, western nations have experienced peace long enough to not want to jump into a war and it's societies are in a generational transition period where the younger generations are more influenced by unregulated social media that is quickly becoming dominated by Troll's?Bots and AI generated deep fakes. The older generations are not that better as they are more keen for war but are also upset that progress is changing their ways of life and upending the energy model they based their lives around (basically the shift away from traditional energy is like a slap in the face to older people who assumed oil/gas was going to be around forever and that anyone who thought differently was insane or an progressive simpleton). The end point is I truly worry about the next few years, Europe thinks it has more time up it's sleeve to push Russia of the economic cliff and win the proxy war via finical ruin, but Russia clearly plans to escalate hostilities while it still has the means to do so and is using Western hesitation in it's favour to fully turn it's national economy into a war time economy where it can out produce cheap disposable weapons at a rate that would allow Russia to carpet bomb Europe back into WW2 levels of destruction. So let's hope the average voter across Europe thinks hard about what they want for their futures when it's politicians finally approach the question of direct action to actually enforce the sanctions against Russia/North Korea/Iran and later China.

This is the price for not doing so.
