A lot of what you said I can relate to in my life the last few years up to now. Still living with my parents at 22 studying enigneering. I started to realize that the person who matters is me first . I realized I was trying to please my parents and others. My dad has bad diabetes so someone needs to take care of him so I wouldn't abandon him for that. But I started prioritizing what matters to me and my values first. I still feel the pressure with my friends family and others sometimes but I've seen a lot of improvement seeing counseling and getting into the mindset of not caring what other people think and that what I think matters over them. Just remember you're not an asshole if you are staying true to yourself.
Can you do one on toning down the asshole because I think that’s my problem because i have the habit of making a stand but then it turns into a argument..🤦♂️
· i got rejected recently because i was emotionally open and honest when conversing · i wasn't superficially or recklessly nice to her · she didn't even want a nice guy that had boundaries · in her own words, she wanted an emotionally detached asshole :-/
finally someone that doesnt say a nice guy is just a creep in a fedora (no I dont own one of those). hits home though, I had a number of girls that were friends in college....only as long as they needed help with their classes :/
Im always thought of a nice guy. Glad to know im not a "nice guy" lol. Iv been rejected a good bit but never felt like someone owed me for being nice to them. I may go for girls that are a bit out of my league but youll miss all the shots you dont take am i right?😅
It’s possible a year and 3 months from this time I downloaded the “nice guy” book...... I realized it and worked on it....cured the curses. It’s possible but never forget to be humble and forgive yourself and remember that the people that have hurt you or are possibly to hurt you 8n the future are human, and talk it through. Remember not everyone is perfect so if they don’t talk frankly about when you make your desires known, be willing to walk away.
These are not tips. This is education from a man with core values. Its only sad because for every guy out there which you educate there are ten mindless followers of Bilzerian. And the same goes for the women of course.
The part about fear of breaking repore definitely resonates with me, thank for pointing that out actually shining a light on it for us.
I think this can be summed up with "men, stick up for yourself when the occasion rises"
Great accurate video BTW!
this talk is very useful about relationships and women
I agree, boundaries must be set as well as a high self esteem.

Fantastic video Damien. Your videos are spot on

· in her own words, she wanted an emotionally detached asshole :-/
some people are just damaged like that- it's good you learned that early on and avoided a potentially toxic relationship, keep on growing.
Great advice! Thank you.
wtf the Roy from "The Order of the Stick" thumbnail lol

I can only watch the video on 360p... Why is that?
Oh because it was just published, and I think RUclips takes about 10 minutes to release it in higher resolution
Or.. you are being too nice to your browser xD
