I want to know when giving this jump starter a recharge how long do u recharge? And #2 why does the green light glow brighter to dimmer and back to brighter, what does that mean?
How do I know mine is charging. When I plug up the extension cord, the green led flash short. And when it's not plug up, and I push the battery button, it shows solid red led.
I have one and have charged it. Both the green and red light are on when charging. Then when I turn it on, the green light turns red. Is that normal? I lost the manual. Your video was very helpful. I may not use it for jumping my truck, but more for back up power if ever power if out as I bought an adapter. thank you
Same here - the thing is practically not user-serivicable as it has those "security" star/hex screws in it and it has six of them that are deeply recessed. Rubber hose broke right at the exit hole. It has no stress relief where the hose exits the unit - shortened its life span and cracked there. Will attempt disassembly when I get around to it. Or just crack it open like a clam.
I'm tried to find how much HP the air compressor has for how strong and fast it would inflate a tire compared to the portable ones that usually only cost $50 ? any specs you have on this ? and if I charge this up at home and leave it in my trunk, how long does it hold a charge for ? summer and in cold winter days ?
You forgot to mention that the air hose from the compressor is TOTAL JUNK ! Mine developed a crack and duct tape worked for a while. It soon cracked again broke in half. There is no replacement available and fabricating a replacement is not really practical with the way it was manufactured . Believe me, I understand the concept of keeping manufacturing cost low. But five cents worth of the proper quality hose can't be a deal breaker if one intends to build a quality product. So please feel free to share this in your in your sales pitch.
Just bought this and then my tire lost air. Cannot get the air compressor to put even 10pounds of pressure in the tire. Buy the one without the compressor

Are you really that lazy? Besides, it's good that they do that because batteries shouldn't be stored at max charge in a warehouse before sale or else it will wear down faster.

Where can I purchase the extension cord to charge the unit? I purchased this without having a cord to charge it
Any extension cord will work - even polarized extension cords - standard guage wire less than 6 feet
