  • Did you know there is a probable ancient meteor crater in middle Georgia? There is! The so called “Cove Dome”, a meteor impact crater dating back to the Cretaceous Period is located about 3 1/2 miles from Woodbury, GA. The dome is clearly circular and measures about 4.2 miles in diameter with an elevated Quartzite rim. Join us as we fly over the crater in a Cessna 310 and explore the crater area. We then make a perfect landing at Peachtree’s Falcon Field!
Thanks to my son in law, Chris for taking me on this exciting flight!

I looked at your flight on flight tracker, interesting. If we ever have clear weather on a friend of mines off day want to take a look at it.
