This video series will teach you how to make a mold using silicone and a hard mother mold from beginning to end. The fifth video in the series is about how to finish of a mold, how to make the final pieces and how to open it.
I've included three links where you can purchase a silicone similar to the one that I use.

Thank you so much for making this video
You are welcome!
I love your work , if you don’t mind me asking what do you fill the mold with to make the final pieces ?
Thank you! In general I have three options that I chose from, plaster, composite resin (hyrdo-resin or aqua-resin) and wax for bronze casting.
Somebody opened a door to the room I was in while watching you cut the silicone mold and I was so focused that I nearly jumped out of my seat.
Haha! I'm glad you liked it enough to focus that much!
The best tutorial I've seen so far on the internet. And I've seen lots of videos.
Thank you!
Why not make the silicon in several parts like the mother mold and avoid the cutting altogether?
You can do that but it's harder to get good registration that way. I do it that way sometimes but usually it's just easier to cut.
You are a grand teacher... Video is very well explained and the tempo is at a perfect pace! You got it man! Looking forward to learning what you have to teach! Thanks!
Much appreciated!
Do you apply any release agent to the silicone so it doesn't stick to the plaster?
No, silicone only sticks to silicone so there is no reason to use a release agent.
Its amazing!
Thank you!
fantastic piece of art ❤
love it
Thank you!
great teaching
