Hey there everyone, today we head back down the rabbit hole of "Homage Watches" & take a look at a recent release from an old favourite, AddiesDive.
This model, the AD2044 is a homage to the Tudor Black Bay GMT. This homage contains a Swiss quartz movement & has 200m of water resistance like the original. The watch has a mineral sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating & has plenty of lume courtesy of the liberally applied BGW9 lume on the applied indices & hands.
The case has very good finishing & both case & bracelet are milled from 316L stainless steel.
Sitting at around $80 USD, this watch is a great addition to your collection & has the added convenience of quartz accuracy, as well as being "set & forget"...no need to wind or have it serviced!..simple!!

That’s a hell of a deal for a great looking watch. I do agree that the Jubilee Style is a little too blingy for this watch. With that said, I got the Jubilee Style for my white dial Ascent, and I plan on wearing as my “dress” watch. Thanks for the great review.

I can see it now, the dial looks silvery-grey-champagny so makes it slightly difficult to read the time. One would wonder why not get a steeldive auto gmt for a similar price if not just for a quartz piece in the collection
