I remember ads getting me into games, and actually getting into other series when I used to go to the game store and the game I wanted was out of stock. (I got into fire emblem because luigi's mansion was out of stock but I loved the cover art of FE Awakening and gave it a shot). Miss the magic of getting into games like this, now its all about w/e is the flavor of the month with streamers/vtubers.

That first UK trailer is the best. I live in America and I have never seen that one before but damn THAT is how you do a trailer. No talking over the gameplay, just amazing gameplay with sweet radical music. It sells itself on that. Whatever people worked on that trailer knew what they were doing

I remember the milk commercial. I was mostly amazed how amazing they made the game look (with the looney tunes face smashing effects) and loved seeing him interact in the real world and the first appearance of giant mushroom mario just owning the place. Funny enough, I don't think we would get game details and graphics looking like that until most recently when the Switch came about
