Yesterday I had some entitled woman come to the store to sell two phones, she asked how long to test them, "35 minutes." C: BUT I HAVE A CHILD... I explained the price was different because the condition wasn't the same. She kicked off, cutting me off and demanding another opinion. I went, got her phones, both of them had failed. I handed them back to her sour face with glee.
By the way, I worked for an Motor Insurance company for over 6 months (in the claims department). Most Insurance companies have something called Subrogation, meaning they're allowed to admit fault on your behalf. They only do this with enough evidence. But this means your Insurance company does not need to wait for you to agree, or for you to agree at all. And they don't always need a police report. Dash cam/CCTV can be good enough. Long story short, Insurance companies are not your personal Lawyers that have to go with what you say. It's their money as well as yours you're risking
That's not how biology works. The oldest woman to ever have a baby was 74. Menopause doesn't mean you can never have another baby contrary to popular opinion. It just means you're a lot less fertile. The youngest girl was 6 (you really don't want to know). On average girls get their first period around 11-13 at which point they are perfectly capable of having a baby though it's not advisable. This just goes to show you there is a large range of time in which to have a kid.
@Nakor Z Not really. Plenty of women have kids from mid 30s to late 40s. I can't name unknown folks for obvious reasons, but some famous ones I can mention. Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz had a kid together not long ago and she is 48. He's 50. Halle Berry had a kid at 41 and another at 47. Susan Sarandon had kids at 42 and 45. Salma Hayek had one at 41. Gwen Stefani at 44. Uma Thurman at 42. Iman at 45. Janet Jackson at 50. Geena Davis at 46 and then twins at 48. In fact although younger women are choosing more and more to not have kids women over 40 are having more kids these days and the reason is they are more financially and emotionally prepared to do so. Here's an article on it in fact: www.usatoday.com/story/news/2018/05/19/childbearing-why-women-40-s-having-more-babies/624028002/
@Nakor Z Whatever floats your boat. Those kids are all healthy though. And even in the Middle Ages and Victorian times women were having kids in their 40s. The difference there was that it was not uncommon for women to die in childbirth because of it. And since you had to build up a dowry to get married in those times women often weren't married until they were around 25. Only the rich could afford to marry young. I do have to laugh when I offer support for my arguments and the stubborn and ignorant choose to just ignore it however. Moreso when they demand evidence in the first place. n Face it you don't know as much as you think you do about either women, fertility or childbirth.

Yeah, she had no right to demand where he goes for an estimate or where to get his car fixed. My guess is that her brother owned the shop and he'd lowball the estimate so her insurance wouldn't have to pay out much. Then if he did get his car fixed there, they'd do cheap, shoddy work and "Oh, when we were fixing that, we found X which is going to cost you another couple thousand to get fixed."

As a former claims adjuster, I'm having flashbacks. 😩 These people could have avoided all this mess by just letting the insurance companies work for them, instead of talking to each other and trying to negotiate. It never ends well.😅

When the woman said "millenial" I instantly thought "ok boomer"
"BOOMER?! That's sø disrespectful!!" xD
Plot twist: both she and OP are gen X
It's funny that baby boomers think millennial are all young 18-25 types. A lot of millennials are nearly 40 now; it's Gen Z that's young.
Of course, boomers are kind of out of touch with reality anyway...
Star Synthetik, believe it or not most of the millennial hate I see are from the older millennials. I work with a dude four years older than me who used to blame millennials for everything. He thought he was a Gen Xer even though he was born in 1991.
I know different dictionaries and research centers will give different start and end dates for these kinds of things, but I haven’t seen a single credible source saying anyone born after 1990 is still considered part of Generation X.

It was a little office space and we had a small kitchen area, literally a kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge plugged into a 4-way extension cable. Guess which one the cleaners unplugged to do the vacuuming... and then left unplugged over the weekend!

Yesterday I had some entitled woman come to the store to sell two phones, she asked how long to test them, "35 minutes."
C: BUT I HAVE A CHILD... IN A PRAM!", It didn't change 35 minutes was short to run two phones like that through the system. Anyway an HOUR later she comes back, she approaches me demanding to get more money as she saw a different price on the board.
LMAO
You need to look up how old the boomer generation is.... No way a boomer has an 18 year old. Gen X has to own that entitled mother
