      OP lost too much for me to find it satisfying.
      For a year he was down to 10% capacity earning-wise and he got $50.000 for that(that's chump change compared to the other numbers in the story). That's essentially what the business side of it comes down to.
      Emotionally it's much worse. Even if you get revenge, being tortured and having uncertainty around your life in general for so long is bad.

      This reminds me of that video where a child standing next to his mother in a grocery store checkout line kept hitting the woman in front of them. The mom saw it but didn’t stop her kid. The woman who was getting hit then opens a milk carton and pours it over the kid’s head. This reminds me of “Play stupid games win stupid prizes” and “If you don’t parent your kids, someone else will.” Haha. I wouldn’t do what OP did but I do support and love it. Heck, she was nice enough to remove her post from Facebook. And her sister was only in middle school, come on now guys, she wasn’t a full grown adult.

But, that could have gone so wrong for OP. It's highly frowned upon (at the very least) for adults to take pictures of children and harass them and their families, no matter what they did to deserve it, because adults are supposed to be more mature. I love a good just desserts story, but again that could have ended very poorly.

It's insanely creepy they stalked multiple children's and their family's social medias over been harassed once by the CHILDREN, is the bar that low? THEY WERE CHILDREN. I agree they needed some form of reprimanding BUT notifying the volley ball coach was all you should've done. Op posted a video of them retaliating against children and running after them, like an insane person. Grow up, what both parties did was not okay but OPs reaction was somehow worse.

      The OP was a girl.
      Here's my 2 cents. If kids can go around and harass people without consequences, then that's what's wrong with people today. Just because you're a kid doesn't mean you can get away with things like this. If you started some kind of club/organization/ whatever, and recruit people to promote what it is you started. You don't want the face of your business to be some douche that does anything out of conduct while wearing your logo. Personally I would want someone to point out bad behavior that casts my business in a bad light. When you get a job, most of the time, they make you sign a paper that you won't misrepresent the company. Just look at the many people that have been fired because they acted stupid online and it got back to the big wigs of their jobs. And another thing. If my kid(s) were acting shitty because I wasn't there, and they wanted to be cool, I'd be pissed. I work too damn hard to make sure my kid(s) are decent people for them to go out and act like assholes for clout. Or whatever else the reason is. I would want someone to tell me how my kid(s) behaves outside of my watch. So no the OP was in the right. I would probably do the same

      They are children, but they're definitely old enough to handle the concept that their actions can result in consequences that can follow them to places where their character is concerned. This kind of behavior is harassment, bullying, and they themselves misused their phones recording someone without their consent. OP contacted their parents and other persons who have the authority to actually carry out discipline to curb their behavior. They learned what they did was not a "joke" or a "prank" and there were consequences. They likely had privileges taken away and stern talking tos; OP defintely went far, but the end result was fitting. Hopefully these kids understand why what they did was wrong if they didn't before.

    And this is why you keep the most valuable information you have as secluded as you can. Always helps to gather more risky information like this - just in case you might need it. The day anyone tries to mess with you or your job thinking you are not prepared for that when in fact you are many steps ahead of them - they realize who truly holds the power and usually back off. If not, you always have your information at your disposal :)

    I’m not sure about the first story, you can’t expect 10 year olds to understand what’s harassment, and the reaction is so absolutely batshit insane that I feel like you could make a story on the other girls side about being stalked by a crazy lady after trying play an (albeit stupid) prank

    • @oluchiibe98
      @oluchiibe98 3 года назад +8

      At 10 years old, you should know to NOT ask random strangers to buy you stuff because they think it looks good on you. If they don't know that at their age, then their parents failed big time. They may not have known it was harassment, but that kind of behavior shouldn't have happened in the first place.

      @@doge8825 I feel like regardless of gender the revenge was taken too far, a 20 year old internet stalking 10 year olds is weird and messed up regardless of gender or circumstance. You can’t tell me you didn’t do stupid stuff when you were 10 because that would most certainly be a lie, and while the content changes, 10 year olds do not.

    Is anyone kind of concerned with OP’s behavior in the first story? These are minors, who OP describes as close to ten, who are obviously immature. Getting the employee(s) should have been enough. OP is a grown adult stalking children online to ruin them...it feels off to me
