You got it wrong. Corporations pay politicians/ the government to steal money from us. Like how 25% Of a lot of state tax revenue is from Car dealerships which is why they’re so unfair. They have anti-competition laws, and it’s illegal to sell new cars directly from factory. Or the amount of money hospitals and insurance places pay to keep free health care away. Or the amount of money that tax services pay so that the government doesn’t do file free taxes.
jjohnston94 you live in the USA right? That means you had to calculate your income and do essentially all the tax work to find the number yourself. Well, return free filing is basically instead of all that, the government sends you what they think your taxes are and you proof read them instead of the other way around. This essentially makes taxes much easier to do. But services that make your taxes easier when you pay them to do your taxes lobby like hell to stop these laws.

One of my elder sisters is a narcissist just like Lilith in the first story. 18 months ago we both cut off communication after a relatively minor disagreement where she didn't get her own way. My first daughter was going to be an only child until 4yrs later when we were blessed w/ her little sister. My oldest would every once and awhile say things like, “I miss when it was just us three.” I was worried for a bit, but as I incorporated her into the upbringing of her lil sis, she came around pretty fast. Knowing that someone looked up to her for approval, was enough to make her really get involved with her little sis. I explained to her that if her and her sissy became close that she would have the most loyal friend she’d ever know. She really welcomed the idea and even though they have their fights, they genuinely care for each other and that’s all I could ask for.
pickedsolid i feel like it all comes down to shit parenting. My sister is 6 years older than me and we’re not super close, not because either of us entitled or anything we just have very different personalities and the age gap. We’d happily lay down our lives for each other though, no questions asked. Growing up sure we argued and tried the manipulative shit because that’s what happens at a certain age, kids try to push to see what parents will do. My parents would separate us and hear both sides of the story openly and then bring us both into the living room and talk us through why we can’t behave like that and that it’s not tolerated but they still love us. My parents also never did the one child in charge when they weren’t there. They expected us both to just behave and call them or my grandma if we were having a problem. Sure she was in charge of the driving and such because I couldn’t (still can’t, I’m terrified of it and at 20 still don’t even have my permit. Until I get a job that requires it I won’t) but we were both given half the money for it in our accounts and told to spend it responsibly because that’s all there was that we’d be given. Give your kids a real chance to fail and succeed while you’re still there to help them and they’ll learn how to act when they’re adults and those choices will have real consequences. And children don’t have to be best friends they just have to learn to get along and still act respectful towards one another despite their differences. I could never be bffs with my sister, we live very different lives with different ideas for how we should live but we’ve learned not to pick fights about it and just accept we’re different and that that’s a good thing (she’s into math, city life, social, lives a bit of a lavish life but she makes very good money and can afford it, as well as being a bit ocd and high energy. I’m laid back, an artist, messy, not overly social and don’t really care about money too much, I just want to make enough to live comfortably because I can find entertainment that’s free etc. Just pretty different, but we’re both pretty self sufficient and know what we want and willing to do the work required to be able to support what it was we wanted)
in some countries (like mine) we cant just go out and find a place to live after 18. actually most of us live with their parents until marriage or if we found another place to work far from home/university. also we are still their kids thats how they see things or just super rich (and not all the time as well)

I have a Little sister and even though we have fought over stupid things we always have each others backs. She is an amazing young woman and I love her so much. I was the first child of the generation in my family so I was the little cuddle muffin that everyone wanted to hold, but even though my sister stole the spotlight for a bit, my mom have told me that I was the proudest big sister ever. Hey Rslash, You probably wont read this but thank you for making videos. My archilles tendon was to short and I couldn’t walk normal. Everyone bullied me because of it and called my balerina. Walking was very exausting that’s why I rather sat and played video games than doing sport. I had a surgery before summer and my legs were in casts the whole summer long, I was in a lot of pain and I always listened to your videos, the ones from fresh and also voicyhere to calm me down. I got a lot of painkillers wich didn’t do anything. The Suffering seemed endless but I survived it. I still have flashbacks to this time from this one music fresh uses in his videos. And tomorrow I am going skying for the first time ever, because I wasn’t able to before. I know I might be a nothing for you but thank you for everything.

the lilith story just shocked me. all of my siblings and i are either 4 years apart or more. the oldest child (my brother) never once thought that he was the baby. he always shared everything and now hes 30 and barely has any money because theres so many homeless people where im from. he donates money to them almost every single day and we all love him for it. im the second youngest and theres 6 of us and all of us got treated like a baby for around 6 months- 1 year. the youngest of us all (my other brother) is mentally disabled and he turned 9 today. he HAS to get treated like a baby because mentally, hes 2, but irl hes 9. but his brain works slower than ours.
With the sister story, that never really happend to me since I'm the older one, I have a step sister and a step brother, I spent most of my life with them until my dad and step mom split up, I still call them my step siblings just because we spent most of our lives together

My first daughter was going to be an only child until 4yrs later when we were blessed w/ her little sister. My oldest would every once and awhile say things like, “I miss when it was just us three.” I was worried for a bit, but as I incorporated her into the upbringing of her lil sis, she came around pretty fast. Knowing that someone looked up to her for approval, was enough to make her really get involved with her little sis. I explained to her that if her and her sissy became close that she would have the most loyal friend she’d ever know. She really welcomed the idea and even though they have their fights, they genuinely care for each other and that’s all I could ask for.
I hate the “only child” excuse I have 3 kids. 6,3 and one on the way and none of them dislike each other to that level.
pickedsolid i feel like it all comes down to shit parenting. My sister is 6 years older than me and we’re not super close, not because either of us entitled or anything we just have very different personalities and the age gap. We’d happily lay down our lives for each other though, no questions asked. Growing up sure we argued and tried the manipulative shit because that’s what happens at a certain age, kids try to push to see what parents will do. My parents would separate us and hear both sides of the story openly and then bring us both into the living room and talk us through why we can’t behave like that and that it’s not tolerated but they still love us. My parents also never did the one child in charge when they weren’t there. They expected us both to just behave and call them or my grandma if we were having a problem. Sure she was in charge of the driving and such because I couldn’t (still can’t, I’m terrified of it and at 20 still don’t even have my permit. Until I get a job that requires it I won’t) but we were both given half the money for it in our accounts and told to spend it responsibly because that’s all there was that we’d be given.
Give your kids a real chance to fail and succeed while you’re still there to help them and they’ll learn how to act when they’re adults and those choices will have real consequences.
And children don’t have to be best friends they just have to learn to get along and still act respectful towards one another despite their differences. I could never be bffs with my sister, we live very different lives with different ideas for how we should live but we’ve learned not to pick fights about it and just accept we’re different and that that’s a good thing (she’s into math, city life, social, lives a bit of a lavish life but she makes very good money and can afford it, as well as being a bit ocd and high energy. I’m laid back, an artist, messy, not overly social and don’t really care about money too much, I just want to make enough to live comfortably because I can find entertainment that’s free etc. Just pretty different, but we’re both pretty self sufficient and know what we want and willing to do the work required to be able to support what it was we wanted)

I was also the only child for about 4 years until my little brother came along and i was 6 when my youngest came along (there are 3 of us). Hey Rslash, You probably wont read this but thank you for making videos. My archilles tendon was to short and I couldn’t walk normal. Everyone bullied me because of it and called my balerina. Walking was very exausting that’s why I rather sat and played video games than doing sport. I had a surgery before summer and my legs were in casts the whole summer long, I was in a lot of pain and I always listened to your videos, the ones from fresh and also voicyhere to calm me down. I got a lot of painkillers wich didn’t do anything. The Suffering seemed endless but I survived it. I still have flashbacks to this time from this one music fresh uses in his videos. And tomorrow I am going skying for the first time ever, because I wasn’t able to before. I know I might be a nothing for you but thank you for everything.

the lilith story just shocked me. all of my siblings and i are either 4 years apart or more. the oldest child (my brother) never once thought that he was the baby. he always shared everything and now hes 30 and barely has any money because theres so many homeless people where im from. he donates money to them almost every single day and we all love him for it. im the second youngest and theres 6 of us and all of us got treated like a baby for around 6 months- 1 year. the youngest of us all (my other brother) is mentally disabled and he turned 9 today. he HAS to get treated like a baby because mentally, hes 2, but irl hes 9. but his brain works slower than ours.
