Brakes Lock Up On Highway! 3 Hours From Home!! Trucking Life

Today I went trucking by myself from Michigan down to Indiana pulling dairy tanks. I drove all night long in my semi truck and delivered in the early morning. As I left my delivery I noticed I was losing air to my tractor parking brakes inside the cab and my truck was really sluggish not getting up to speed. Sure enough I wound up stranded on the side of some random road in Indiana with no help in sight. Fixing your own semi truck on the side of the road can be very tricky, but if you can repair it yourself at least to get you home then you can save thousands of dollars in tow truck and roadside service bills.
