Terrible lug design on the NITTO. The contact area will increase dramatically as the tire wears. And I would bet that car stands 99% of its time on the road which means when it rains, it has a higher probability of hydroplaning. That is actually a shit design. Only about 23% of the contact area of a tire on the road should be making contact and when your lug increases in size that percentage, it does also increasing the probability of the hydroplaning. Don’t buy that tire.
Nittos are trash tires for the price they are asking. Well at least the ridge grapplers are. I went through 2 set both had problems with balancing and/or uneven wear.
Nitto all the way I have bought alot of sets of nitto love them. My nityo's where 10 ply tires
Nitto is one of the olny truck tires checked for out of round and balance problems before it leaves factory 🤔🤑
I haven’t see any ridge grapplers that were 3ply side wall, only 2 ply.
They are alot more expensive too. Forgot to mention that part. And alot more heavy.
And not a price in sight, which would be why people pick between the two.

Also looks like there’s a height difference with same size tire
Aren’t they both 10 ply?
Yes

Uneven wear is not the tire it’s the alignment or from not rotating.
