Been running Mickey Thompson on my farm trucks for years. Tuff tire. On my 2024 I went with Goodyear’s new Boulder M/T and I love it. Aggressive tread, quiet on highway and wears pretty damn good. I did try Nittos a few trucks back and with the weight I carry, the beads and sidewalls wouldn’t hold up. Mickey T’s are tough but ride rough. So far tho the Boulders are doing well. I am 35x12.5R 20 12 ply

Used to run trail graps on my f150, they ride good, last long and all around good performance, (even in deep snow).

    Really like your content
Question I know you had RAMs before the SD’s. Have you done a video giving the reason for switching or comparing each? Reason being I’m going back and forth between RAM & Ford for my first 3/4 ton that we are buying to RV with. I’ve had multiple RAM 1500’s for years but I’m leaning hard to the SD with the 7.3 vs the HEMI 6.4. Would like your take on each.

I do have a video on my channel with pros and cons to all three brands. I know one of the big issues with most large gas engines is valve train. I do have the 6.4 in our 22 Rubicon 392 and it has been a good engine. We change the oil every 3k but the jeep is not much of a load. The 7.3 in my 250 tremor was a beast. It pulled my 45’ toy hauler but was very thirsty.. I will always recommend a diesel if you can make it happen. The Ford for me is superior for towing in my opinion. Check out my tremor video towing RV..

Do you have any issues running 13.50 on the stock wheel? That’s the route I’m tryna go, but so many tire companies around me won’t put them on/recommend doing that on the stock wheel

Besides the inconvenience of box stores won’t mount them the answer is no. I have pulled trailers and used 13.50 on many trucks with stock wheels.

I’m buying grapps for my truck soon and I can’t pick between the mud or trail, if you could give me some advice I would appreciate it

Grapps look really good but the downside is they are loud.. Trails are middle ground and are pretty quiet but still have the aggressive look. Ridge Grapps look ok and are zero noise… The Mud Grapps are not to bad until you get down to 60-70% and they get more loud 😂… You will have about 10k miles of noise but not to bad.. After 10k miles they will turn it up.. If I did not have some long RV trips this summer I would have kept them on.. I still might get me another set later.. I am happy with the trails they seem a little softer ride than Ridge and Mud and just have a light hum.. Hope this helps…

It definitely helps I appreciate it, I’ve been researching and some people love the mud grapps and get 50K+ off of them and some people say they’re hard to balance and they don’t last long so idk what to believe, maybe the people with issues didn’t rotate and get alignments done I’m not sure. Hard to pick because they both look good

@AwakenedAiden I have had three sets of Mud Grapps and they all roll smooth as glass and required less than 3 ounces.. All my nittos from ridge to Muds have been excellent.. It is better to buy from a small store with good machines.. The big box stores have new hires that don’t even clean your wheel before applying weights. My tire place outlaw Offroad in Victoria gets it within 1 ounce and if tire is old or requires to many weights they send it back… Service is worth paying for…

Fixing to change shoes again lol.. I like the trails but going a different route all together. Again I really like mud grapps on stocks but want something different. The trails look ok but I’m going wide 😂
