The Nitto features a dual sidewall. One side is more aggressive and one is less. You showed the less aggressive side. Great video, just had to mention that!
I run Toyo MT 37’s on my gladiator. Love the tires. I have about 3k on them. No issues so far and they look good. I did several jeep badge of honor trails in AZ. Including Broken Arrow in Sedona AZ and they performed great!
I just gashed the sidewall on a nearly new Trxus M/T, so I actually need the toughest sidewall I can get. I Offroad in honey locusts, sharp rocks, hidden barb wire fences, cut off brush, sometimes like little spikes, etc. I air down a lot, as low as 8 for sand but usually 18 or 25 on the jagged stuff. I’m sitting on my sidewalls pretty often. I’m debating ordering another tire like mine or four tougher tires. I can’t seem to find much about puncture resistance.
What Toyo is an even comparison to Nitto Ridge Grappler ? I need to replace older Nitto Terra Grappler G2 But wanna get one step up /more aggressive look from a Terra Grappler. 305 / 55 R20
ray gxr first of all, I actually had ridge graps in a 305/55 R20 on my Jeep and they were great. Not to loud but not terra grap quiet. The Toyo comparison would be the Toyo RT. Imo, the Toyo rt is the more aggressive of the two but is louder. For what I used the ridge graps for, they did great with the occasional mud puddle trail. I would personally go with the ridge’s just bc of how popular they’ve become bc of being such a great tire. But if you want the more aggressive tire but not the mud tire, go with the Toyo RT. Hope this helped
@@RealDealNeal I liked the setup you posted at Akins - leveled 2018 magnetic with 35x11.5 Ridges. I want something more aggressive, although i'm not going off-road. Which would you run?

To me the trail grappler looks better

Toyo mt or RT is thickest sidewall
I like the old Cooper Discoverer stt and the old Goodyear Mtr, they look like the Toyo mt
That’s good advice from your Uncle Cooper
Looks as if the toyoa run a lil bit smaller
I have had 2 sets of trail grappler and after about 2-3 years they start getting cracks in between lugs. Pretty disappointing.
Nitto or Toyo Mud on 2021 Silverado 1500, which looks best?
Trail grap all day for looks! Great performance also.

Which would you say does better on snow and ice and wet roads? (Aired down in the snow of course)
Softer compound will do better so on paper, the nitto would be better in snow and wet. But im sure theyre both very similar in real life.
Toyo+air down= hella grip :)
Love how some people think a tire has "aggressive side walls"
That toyo is like a slick on the sidewalls
what's up @RealDealNeal - have you had any experience with the BFG KM3? Thank you for your videos.
iloveairs the KM3 is a phenomenal mud terrain tire. Works great on rocks as well. Latest and greatest from BFG

Both are great!!
But *Toyo has the softer compound
