When it comes to mud nothing beats super swampers. It dont matter how many miles they will go if you get stuck every time you hit that mall parking lot muddy spot.
For straight mud, can't beat a Super Swamper Bogger, greasy side hills are their achilles heel. Lots of times I've slid sideways due to the relatively straight tread pattern. For all around use and mostly mud be better served with some Super Swamper TSL's
Ihad 37” trail graplers on my jkur and thought they performed stellar in the heavy rain. I could hit deep pockets of water on the highway and never hydroplaned unlike with the stt pros and the patagonias
Run the nitto trail grappler m/t's on f350 work truck, always loaded or pulling a trailer, good off & on road, if rotated properly I'll get 50,000 to 70,000 miles out of them, it's all I run on that truck, think I'm on set # 4 now, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I am thinking of trying something different on a 97 f350 that finally just got lifted. Looks like Mickey Thompson Baja legend mtz's are a bit cheaper, still a load range E, anyone have any experience with them ? Are they a decent tire that I will get my money's worth out of them? Thanks for any info!!
I have KM2's on my CUCV trucks and Toyo MT's on a Chevy K20. Both do well off road. The Toyo has a stiffer sidewall and actually measures out to advertised size. The larger size KM2's were not even close to advertised specs, but otherwise a great tire.
What’s with these reviews of showing a mud tire in a parking lot?… put them on comparable trucks, take them out and use them in different scenarios, and show the results.
Most I've gotten out of my Km3's with on road only is 18,000 miles.. rotating regularly, proper air pressure. I just can't get them to last long. F250 37x13.5x18 tire.
Based on your experience, is the bfgoodrich Km3 a good option for a Ram 2500 diesel? Just bough a set of 37x13.50r18 about a month ago , so far I am satisfied with them . I'll be happy if I get 40,000 miles out of them .
@@mauriciocastillo5011 Ive never run KM3 mud tires, just the all terrain KO and KO2. I can just attest to quality of BFG which is owned by Michelin, there is no brand which is known for their high standards and quality control as BFG/Michelin. you get what you pay for in tires, dont skimp. They have been in the tire making business longer than any of these brands over 130 years.
I've had a ton of different brands and sizes on all different vehicles over the years. I feel like the Toyo MT are pretty much the standard which all others are measured for me.
RBP Repulsor have been excellent. Cheaper directional tire that balance and wear is exceptional. Noise is reasonable, not excessive. By far my most preferred tire bang for buck. If I want the best “off road tire” I would buy Interco Super Swamper.
Hmmm bfg kx or Maxxis RAZR only ones worth running as far as doing winch hills @fordyce is concerned.....those tires you mentioned are great mall crawlers though... sure they shine up real purdy like for the posers
The Nitto is the worse tire I have ever tried, they are terrible on the road and do not perform well off road, they are loud and notorious for chunking out and very hard to balance. Never buy a Nitto tire.
Hankook MT'2's are the best MT I have ever ran as far daily driver MT goes. They have significantly more grip than a hybrid and are quieter than some. I have around 50,000 mi on set now with room to spare. They have plenty tread to get through the winter without getting me stuck. Next fall I will probably buy them again. They best hybrid I have ever ran was the Kelly TSR/Edge. They are a 60,000+ mile tire if you rotate. They do get loud though when they wear down and they like to pick up rocks. The Hankooks don't pick up rocks and are quieter. I wish Kelly would add stone ejectors to them.
I am using the BFG KM3's. Its on a lifted Ram truck. I have used Toyo At/Rt/Mt's, Nitto Trail Grapplers, Goodyear Wrangler Kevlar, Kuhmo M71 tires on my last 3 trucks (2 Ram Powerwagons and my current 2022 Ram Badlander. The BFG Km3's are the best offroad tire made in my opinion. It does everything. If you keep any of the tires I mentioned rotated on a regular basis, they are all going to work pretty well though.
KM3s here, we got them about 17 months ago, less than a thousand miles on them, entirely on road so far, 285/75R16x7, no regrets. Had Firestone MT2s before, they had a more aggressive tread but a softer sidewall. Probably try M/T Baja Boss MT next.
I'm in Colorado and there's not a whole lot of mud per day.. I do like the MT tread pattern for the look over many AT tires. How do they perform in snow? Many of the snow tires cand handle off road mud terrain because the gaps in the tread are much tighter.
This video reminded me of a speech I have my first year in college on tire changing. I joking said “now make sure you lay the other tire down so it doesnt roll away” and of course it ended up rolling 3-400 yards bouncing down a hill side. Lol good times
toyo MTs have the best looking (and thickest) side lugs. Pretty quiet. Only slightly louder than my old ridge grapplers. My only grip is I have a slight vibration at like 5mph, on pavement, due to the aggressive lugs.
Crazy as it sounds, I like the feeling of the aggressive lugs at slow speeds.. I have the BFG KM2 now and love the sound/feeling but no longer made in 35's. I'm torn between Nico and Toyo and might come down to which one is louder/more vibration. Thoughts since you ran them both??
I absolutely love my mud claw tires, best tires I've ever owned
When it comes to mud nothing beats super swampers. It dont matter how many miles they will go if you get stuck every time you hit that mall parking lot muddy spot.
Yes absolutely

Ive got 35" nitto trail grapplers on my 2015 jku and still got tons of tread after 57k miles. Quiet on highway nd great on the trails.
Awesome
BF Goodrich Mud Terrain TIA KM3 is good and it fits in my Toyota Tundra.
BFG really good on jeeps toyo good for heavy truks
I just love the Toyo Tires, very study and strong. I run them in the desert, and in Baja.
Impressive tires.
Have tried many tires but nothing beats my MAXXIS RAZR MT's by far my favorites...
Just got me a set 265/70/17 on my gx470 and by far the best MTs I’ve ever ridden!
For the budget I went with falken wildpeak MT
Me too. I really like them so far
@@mg90q61 they have been great also
Ihad 37” trail graplers on my jkur and thought they performed stellar in the heavy rain. I could hit deep pockets of water on the highway and never hydroplaned unlike with the stt pros and the patagonias
Cooper STT Pro is also solid.
What about Cooper STT PRO'S ? I love those.
Those things are tuff when you actually see them in person
From my experience, STT PROs are better in mud than these tires.
I've been pretty lucky using Toyo open country M/T on my 07, f350 diesel, I'm getting decent fuel mileage and I got about 35k on my first set..
Love the Toyo Open Country M/T 295x70r17 on my Jeep JL love the narrower tire for the rocks! Get around 45k 3.5" lift

Running the Falken wildpeak at3w right now excellent tire for the money
Jonatnan Griffin yes we love that tire took! Definitely in our top 5
Nice job guys, love that pirate laugh you did.

Bf Goodrich mud tires is too noisy on the freeway for the raptor 🛣?? I’m new subscriber this Chanel is the best 👏🏻
Do you have any real world testing videos?
Best selling isn't "best" other than being best selling.
Best is dependant on the need.
Performance? There are much better options.
Hankook Dynapro MT2 is good.
You literally have no idea what you’re talking about.
Most I've gotten out of my Km3's with on road only is 18,000 miles.. rotating regularly, proper air pressure. I just can't get them to last long. F250 37x13.5x18 tire.
Rockin razr Mts 33s on my ranger love em . All these tires here look like they would put in work as well . Those bfgs lookin real fn mean
prefer BFG/Michelin quality but anything but those GOODYEAR commies. boycott GOODYEAR

Most important thing to do, get a full sized spare, a truck ain't no good on stock spare. KM3 for me, do run smaller.
I've had a ton of different brands and sizes on all different vehicles over the years. I feel like the Toyo MT are pretty much the standard which all others are measured for me.
Toyo Mt vs are amazing I’ve got 60 k out out of a set hauling trailers and working on a farm on. A duramax 2500 diesel 285/55r20

leao are good tires for a truck ? 33.12.5R20
Toyo gets my vote
Which one do you recommend for people that never go off road but like the aggressive look of MTs tires? Best MTs tires for on road?
Out of these 3 the km3 will be your best option.
BF Goodrich at look nice, and are not but on and off tarmac. But rather pricey.
I tried kumo mt 71s holding up great have 30,000 on them so far and still a good bit of tread left . Pull good in the mud too.
Hmmm bfg kx or Maxxis RAZR only ones worth running as far as doing winch hills @fordyce is concerned.....those tires you mentioned are great mall crawlers though... sure they shine up real purdy like for the posers
😂 nitto is back to back winner of king of hammers. Not many malls were they run.
Which does best in snow?
The KM3's are small for their size. If you want a 35 KM3, might as well buy a 37.
Km3’s are the best I use them daily road noise is not that bad and handles ok on the highway
The Nitto is the worse tire I have ever tried, they are terrible on the road and do not perform well off road, they are loud and notorious for chunking out and very hard to balance. Never buy a Nitto tire.

i always went with ko but they always ran small and rain ,,not so great now
i run kendras rt
and when i go true size i go ssr swampers
Open country Mt, 35 12.50 20 on a 2500, what would be the ideal psi?
Son don't fool Yourself . I've been off roading since the 70's and no tire thats DOT approved pulls like a Super Swamper TSL or Bogger .
I agree

Milestar patagonias are way better than two of those.
I run Toyo Open Country M/T on everything and love them.
Seems to be more important how they look than how they perform offroad.
I can’t decide between the 3 any suggestions?
Falken Wildpeak MT. O1 Best mud & rock crawl on Jeeps. 40 thousands miles. 10 ply. & 3ply on side walls
❤well it’s he best mud terrain tyre review on RUclips

I don’t see “super swamper boggers!”These aren’t the best. Boggers are the best
Everything in here but the 3 best😅
How about General Grabber X3
Brian Montoya yes sir that tire is in our top 5!
Mudterrain LT215/7515 something I found em bfgoodrich on side of road free two of em
Brand new in bags

They perform well in the snow too
Neil what type of tire would you suggest . To be a well-rounded tire . To handle all situations heavy downpours and mud . Along with a smooth ride .
Kenny Ingram for every situation and great on road.. toyo open country AT3 is awesome
I have the Toyo at3’s p on my lx570 an lt on my 2500 diesel love them great in rain and quiet
This video reminded me of a speech I have my first year in college on tire changing. I joking said “now make sure you lay the other tire down so it doesnt roll away” and of course it ended up rolling 3-400 yards bouncing down a hill side. Lol good times
It looked like Nitto was the only tire there with the rim protector made on to it.
Don't need that unless your wheels are too wide.
Wheres the mud?
what about maxxis razr mt 40,000-mile limited treadwear warranty have you tried them
You look like Pablo Popovic... Nice video 👍! Really helpful.
Km3 had them for 60k. Great tires but they run small
I’m going with the tire you got printed on your vest. 👍🏼
Cheers for the good video mate. Im from Australia i run the nittos 👍 going to try km3s next oi oi
I wanted to get the yokohama geolandar g003 now im looking at the toyos
I like the Yokohamas too but Toyo better
Out of the 3 with 32psi on street rotate every 10k miles which one will last longer on a GMC 1500 Sierra?
Toyo
What size are the tires for the black raptor
Any of these 3 will take care of you!
Yes absolutely
KM3's . All day long .
Toyo is great.
Nice review.. which one of them tires would you consider the quietest of the 3...?
Bfg
