Nice! Cool to find SK8CAD getting some good use! (Thanks for the credits!)
Old guy here. Uh, 20K for a machine to make $100 skateboards. Hmm
more like 60K
@@zbigniewleosz319 , Gulp!
Well 100 sold skateboards are 10.000$ you can look from that side..
Young guy here, it's just a demo to show capabilities, not a business model.
The vacuum fixture was awesome!
I want one mold like this 😍
cool video, nice music, good work
Seems like the stock should have been glued to the shape at 1:39 rather than carving away all that toxic MDF In the roughing process.
Toxic mdf? Ahahahah
@@maerok1 you don’t think MDF is toxic or carcinogenic?
@@bradenwilson mdf are particles from natural wood compressed XD
@@maerok1 you have no idea what you are talking about, formaldehyde is a know carcinogen and the glue used to bond the mdf particle’s together. The fineness of the mdf dust also makes it extremely bad for your lungs if inhaled. I have close to 30 years experience with this. Please reconsider how you are working with MDF if you are not taking adequate precautions.
@@bradenwilson not all mdf is glued whit formaldehyde.
And, not only mdf have formaldehyde...
All in the industry have formaldehyde....
Alcohol in carcinogen, tobaco, the sun, all is carcinogen, not only the "mdf".
However, all plywood have formaldehyde...
Well, that was cool. Nice edits.
Rocking!
That was awesome.
Thanks for the video! Got a tech question here….Sk8CAD gives you a STL file (mesh) for your 3D modeled board design however rhinocam doesn’t cut from a mesh file. How did you get around that to cut your mold? Hopefully my inquiry makes sense. Thanks
