THANK YOU SIFU,YOUR TEACHING METHODS ARE SO ENRICHING. I LOVE HOW EXPLAIN EACH MOVEMENT UNTIL THE STUDENT UNDERSTANDS THEN YOU MOVE ON TO THE NEXT MOVEMENT, GREAT PATIENTS AND CARE YOU HVE FOR THE STUDENT.
DRAGON one glad it helps.... I like to keep the details of the art ....not only just the forms and speeds.... Unfortunately most of Wing chun practitioners like to learn fast with a little of details which make the real art lost....
Very well explained. Thank you for the instruction. This section resembles section 2 in the lineage of Wing Chun I studied though, with this section following the opening pak sau, lan sau hits. Alternatively, the repetition of the low bong saus is like the opening of section 7 in the version I learnt. Arrangement clearly doesn't matter though, as I immediately recognised these movements and learned much from how you are showing them being applied. Thank you for the enlightenment on different ways these movements can be used, and the detail of knowledge. All the best.
its great to see a Sifu breaking down each little movement and then showing you the reasons for the position and structure.. many teachers do not do this..
traditional way no Shifu explains moves in details, you just learn and practice really hard for a long time then slowly you will start to understand and figure out the applications of the moves while you are practicing with your kung fu brothers.....and maybe never Shifu Sonny Le has adapted his way of teaching wing chun in western countries which will give you full details understanding of techniques and applications so you can benefit and use the arts more effective in the real life....His background and experience also come from other arts that he had learned at his young age including Northern shaolin, hung gar, taekwondo, aikido and Huwa traditional weaponry....
@@NorthYorkWingChun If I may be so bold, I think the traditional way of teaching Wing Chun is the reason why it seems to fail so much in fighting seen on RUclips videos. I prefer your modern way of teaching. Many practitioners never fully understand how to use the forms outside of the gym or beyond practicing with a similarly skilled individual. Sort of like how Tia Chi became known mainly as an exercise after being disconnected from it's fighting applications, I fear most who learn Wing Chun today are kinda only learning it as an exercise too, only the exceptional student will see it for the deadly art it really is.
I am humbling to learn wing chun, but here I don't have any classes and masters but till I am learning by using wing Chun apps, and videos from RUclips, because I have to learn and interested in it, at art is super... Thanks for making videos sir.. 🙏🙏
Shivayogi Hiremetri understand....I strongly believe people with passion to learn will finally doing better than people who have money, convenience and many choices in hands .... I started martial arts and Wing chun in late 70 so there was no internet, No books, no DVDs....my 1st Wing chun Shifu I heard of is 1 hour out of town and I were riding bicycle there to learn every morning ...You are now in better world and technology....best luck to your training ....I will try to have some more helping clips while I’m back teaching classes after this lock down of the Virus in our city
Doesn’t matter what style we fight with…wing chun can adjust easily in a fight If we meet boxers then we attack their footwork…use low kicks then use hands …breaking their structure…. If they put their Guard hands high then we kick their mid section then follow with hand to hand combat … No matter what I said..just go and try boxing with a wing chun master to experience for yourself….
I do wingchun as an amateur. I have a lot to learn from this video. thanks master
Learn to know how to use and apply a move in that form are much more important than knowing the whole form …..
