Well done! And in true scientific nerd fashion, you equate human gestation to your healing time of a broken ankle. LOL Hope to meet up with you some time this year for some hiking or backpacking in the Gila. Take care.
I grew up in El Paso as a teen and was always blown away that Guadalupe Peak was the tallest mountain in the entire state of Texas! Haha! I'm so glad I moved back to Northern New Mexico where the state got its name, The Land of Enchantment! Great hike, Nate! 😎🍻😎
Don’t get me wrong, I think the Guads are a special mountain range! But Guadalupe Peak would be insignificant in elevation if it were just 8 miles north, haha.
I would describe summiting Guadalupe that day as rather uncomfortable and lacking payoff, yet unforgettable. It's much easier to endure "type 2 fun" when accompanied by amigos. Thanks for inviting me again, Nate & great job on the video!
LOVE the music on this video. Awesomely done Nate, bravo.
Thank you!

Please keep in touch about hiking! My late spring/early summer is already pretty busy, but come mid-June things ease up quite a bit.
@@OneMansOdyssey will do!

Crazy weather with the fog, frost, wind! Good job on making it to the top through all that
Let’s hope we don’t see too much of all those three on Saturday 😬

I couldn’t have put it better myself! Reminiscing with a friend about being in the shit is much more fun, haha
Awesome video, was fortunate to go to Guadalupe NP last March on a trip to Cloudcroft but wasn’t able to tag the peak. Looks awesome!
Good reason to go back! :)
Cool video
Thanks! And thanks for sharing!
