I loved the song - think it's gorgeous, empowering, beautifully done. Naomi Scott has fantastic vocal quality and tone. However (and this will not be popular opinion, I know), since I was exposed to it while watching the movie, I didn't see it fitting in with all the classic theatrical / show music. Call it the curse of a music major, but it felt too contemporary and inconsistent. Again, though ~ please don't get me wrong. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the song ~ I just didn't see a pop song fitting in this classic tale.

I was feeling depressed and down when i got "Betrayed" by one person i thought was my friend until when i heard this song in both movie and this one gives me hope and lifted back my confident to not be "Speechless" against people who tried to push me down

In the movie...... wooooh she made me cry watching her sang that thing. Baby girl gave PASSION, and yes..... SHE is the girl casted as Jasmine.
