While this was an AMAZING RACE (I don’t think I’ve been more on the edge of my chair for an AceRace)
How do moments like 0:24 happen? It’s quite a big time-loss and I’m confused on where Purpled went “wrong” in this section, arguably cost him the time to get first (as in other laps he was too scared to try it again)
It looked like he clipped the edge of the slime block where you won’t bounce as much but i don’t really know.
might be because he landed on the edge of the ice, not getting the full bounce from slime. u have to land in the middle of a slime block for a full boost i think
I'm pretty sure he wasn't in swim mode so it didn't launch him forward.

@@boaz7028 He did land on the slime, but he was way too far back (you need to land on the slime part in front of the ice to be able to get into the next water jet), which is why going to the right is easier since there’s no ice there and it’s just slightly faster, although it is slightly farther away. The water jets do seem to be a bit rng in terms of how far you get launched.
