Another great video! You're going to make a lot of window companies angry by divulging their evil secrets. My wife and I had a sales pitch exactly like you described this summer - but we anticipated it ahead of time, so it was easy, though annoying, to keep saying "no" until the sales rep left. I was frankly shocked that they didn't have a manager call back the next day (or ever again), but I was extremely firm that I wasn't going to make a final decision until I had heard all of my scheduled quotes.
Glad you enjoyed the video. We do make some window companies mad sometimes. One of them sued us and a few others have threatened. Luckily that just confirmed that we’re on safe legal ground. Videos on that coming soon. Have fun out there!
I really enjoy your videos and am intrigued by your company's approach to the window business. I've gotten an estimate from you already and will be following up sometime in the spring (we just moved into a new home that's 15 years old and in need of some new windows.) Keep up the good work - love all the insider info and tips.
Thanks for writing Paul. Glad to hear you’re enjoying the videos and we’ll be happy to help when you’re ready. The next video about using a lighter to find out if you have low-e glass in your windows will be a fun one.
Fell for it hook, line, and sinker. Booked an appointment with a sales rep from a company that has been in business for almost 100 years. We decided to replace our windows for our home built in the 70's. 11 vinyl windows and 1 entry door for over 19k. We had a plan not to commit to anything on the day of the home visit. We have been enamored with this company because of all their years in business. Hated the rep because they were gimmicky, didn't really go into detail about windows, and didn't go over contract or warranty. Did not hold sales rep to account because we had confidence in the reputation of the company. We realize we as the consumer have a responsibility to do our homework and what we did was just plain stupid and irresponsible. The first quote was crazy then came the "promos" but we had to sign "today" if we wanted to take advantage of the discounts. We paid for the whole project up front. After we departed with our money we got that sick feeling in our stomach that we screwed up. I started reading reviews about the company online. Holy sh*t it was one bad review after another with poor follow up from the company after installation. Also realized we got taken to the cleaners because our windows are comparable in style and functionality to other vinyl window products from other vendors but way overpriced. Welp we are praying that all goes well. Posting this hoping it can help someone else from making the same mistakes we did. Do your homework even if you think the company has a good reputation and don't sign on the first quote.
I got a quote from Window World in Florida Pan Handle for their double-hung replacement 4000 series with Solar zone elite low E glass with Argon for $38,000. Which I can't get my head around it. On the other hand, Lowes quoted me the Pella 250 series with low E/ Argon glass for less than $20,000. I can't get my head around it. Isn't Pella 250 a better quality window that Window World's? It seems that Window world Has a very strong warranty on the window and glass breakage which covers all costs including labor for the first owner as long as they own the property and it is very simple and straight forward. Is there, any other window company that offers a warranty as strong and clear as Window World? I wasn't able to find a strong straight forward warranty. I would appreciate your comment. Do you guys service Panama City, FL?
We don’t service FL right now but you never know what might happen. I’ve seen window world stores offering different products so I don’t know which product that franchise is selling. Check the website for more info.
Thankyou for the information my friend referred me to your channel. And your absolutely right about that boat payment.

Damn, if I’m closing 30% in commercial sales I’m pumped!
I wish I would have known something before meeting that 1st salesman. I won't make that mistake again, thanks to your fantastic info. Thank you!
I wonder if price is not a concern what is the best choice for a replacement window among Anderson fibrex, Marvin fiberglass and Pella wood
