More like he was a little pissed. He always prayed for the gods favor,but received damnation instead for eons. And yet the gods showed favor for a man that doesn’t even have royal blood yet has the same faith he once had.
@@Sensei.Of.KivotosI think it has to do in the alternate ending, that he was so close in proximity to the crystal. Only in the alternate ending does Ignis actually forge the covenant himself with the ring. Whereas here, he is halfway across the world from it.

No seriosully, I always get close to beating him then the ring just gives up on me. Is there a strict time limit or do you get him on a certain amount of health and it was scripted to end there.
@monkeplaysgames7049 On release day, the game itself wasn't finished. Getting the ultimate weapon was really easy. Unable to switch out characters didn't happen until later updates. And I waited 10+ years for a game that wasn't even finished. There's also videos on what I speak of.
