The earlier commenter who says it reminds them of Ar tonelico is right! Kaoling and Akiko Shikata seem to have a lot of similarities, so that would explain it.
Question: Is this Sistina based on an established mythos? If so, I'd really like to learn more about her. A goddess who fights for liberation, justice, and Vocaloids sounds like the most kick-awesome higher power ever.
hawaiidkw I think Sistina means System, but I know the song is talking about Freya and, Freya or Freyja is Mother to the Valkyries hence the fighting and liberation. Freya is in the Norse Mythology and is Thor's Half-Sister you can read more about here there.
I don't think Systina is an actuall Goddess. Why? Because I'm pretty sure the name comes from Cappella Sistina in Rome, which is called so because it was commissioned by Pope Sisto.
New question. Why isn't Cul appropriately dressed for this song in any of the MMD videos? I see these beautiful, ethereal outfits for Rin, Luka, Teto, Haku, Ritsu, Gumi, and of course you-know-who, but in the two or three videos I've dug up with Cul so far she's in her usual halter vest and hot pants. Would it have been that hard to copy the dress in the picture? It doesn't look that complicated.

Wow, yes.. it's feel like Hymnos song from Ar Tonelico series. If they make collaboration Reyvatiel ft. Vocaloid, it's epic.
Ah, CUL. So underappreciated. Thanks for the translation.
