- Arco mods his old brake line flare tool, so it stops being a pain in the ass.
Today I had a small project in the shop that I wanted to share with you guys. For a bunch of years I’ve been using the same brake line flaring tool set and it always gives me problems so today I decided to fix the problem by modifying the tool. Check out the video, let me know what you think down below. If you have any questions at all leave a comment down below.
Thanks for watching.

Great little tip. And the advise is so true. I had to wait 30+ years using the tablesaw to cut my thumb open for 11 stitches before I took the time to make a bunch of push sticks and featherboards. Now I don't turn on the saw without a push stick in my hand or on the table. Be safe and stay well.
Great hack, thank you. Even just changing the wing nuts is an upgrade.
Arco, thanks for saving your thumb nail…I could feel your pain! 👍
The end of the brake line clamp that you welded that piece of metal on I take out that Bolt and I just put the end of the brake line tool into the vise with just enough room to use the other part of the flaring tool so the vice is doing most of the clamping and it works good
Thinking outside of the box Arco.I have the same problem, I just figured my flare tool was worn out.Impact is always handy so why not use it? Cool, thanks man, keep it coming.Oh and better get that clapped out plow truck ready.
Lol 😆 👍 we retired our clapped out plow truck this year we have a guy that plows our property. Easy Money! Thanks bro hope your doing good! ARCO
