Hello Mr. Michaud , I'm just an adult beginner of nylon string guitar trying to learn myself on internet just for fun. I like flamenco and a while ago I found your B hormonic minor scale lesson and admired your improvisation there and I try to imitate it at times. For this video, I wish you put some improvisation with these new chords to inspire people like me. Anyways, It is very kind of you to provide these enjoyable free lessons. Thanks a lot for your efforts Sir :)
You're welcome Mavi... more coming. I'll be posting weekly on Mondays starting today. I'll have some on improvisation soon... My favorite subject by the way :)
Thank you for showing us these notes. i need a smaller guitar, lol.
Hi, I just got here and I love it. Don't have to look further anymore
I look forward to seeing more of you Kaktus en Koo.
Excellent video! What is the last chord to close out the strumming (and how do you finger it)?
AWESOME CHORDS .... BUT I NEED 3/4 SIZE GUITAR AS MY FINGERS ARE SMALL ....
Hi Samba... 3/4 guitar are great for small fingers.
Hey Tomas, Thanks for the voicings. Why do you call the second chords an G/E7 since it serves as a G chord in the andalusian cadence. Wouldn't it be more logical the consider the G as root note?
Hi Nick... I labeled it Em7/G. It could be called some form of G chord but you'll have to account for the E notes. Maybe Gadd11?
A G would be better, because the original progression resolves in Emaj. So you get Am, G7, F7, Emaj. so all diatonic steps down.
Great sounding chords. You just need to strum them and people will like it. =D
Thanks, Stefl!
Thank you, Tomas!!
what is the name of the song
of the intro
I made that up... but it's a common progression.
What key do I need to tune the guitar please
The standard tuning on a guitar is E-A-D-G-B-E and frequently tuned to the notes on the piano. You can find a guitar tuner online in many places, here is one! guitar-tuner.app/
But what key did you start in?
M the first
Hi Faraz... what does that mean?
Tomas Michaud i was the first who liked your video ..😀
Wow... thanks, Faraz!
Señor Toma's. Before you tune in,tone up your guitar. It will totally, royally make a difference. Gracias.
It sounds in tune to me Alejandro.
I think that Am9 broke my hand😅
WTF...
