Great lessons covering all Genre's here! My first inspiration to learn guitar was a Flamenco playeralmost eight years ago. Alas, at my age I just don't have the fingers to do it. But, this lesson might just get me back in the Music store looking for a reasonably priced Nylon String I cold spend hours working with this progression. I love your work man!! How old am I? In March (If I'm still here) I will be 75 and the joy I get from Guitar is amazing!!!
I'm in the same boat, older fingers learning new tricks. I'm in love with my Alvarez artist series AC65HCE classical acoustic-electric. A LOT of guitar for the money, beautifully crafted. Solid spruce top, abalone inlays, real bone saddle and nut
Wow... I learned more from that one lesson than I have in the past 5 years... I love the simplicity you bring to the guitar lesson which produces a beautiful complexity in sound... Awesome dude... Muchas Gracias...
Enjoying this one immensely. Transcribed all the chords you mentioned and committing them to memory. Sounds great on my new Alvarez nylon string acoustic electric. Will donate to your coffers. You are a youtube treasure.
It's very similar to Classic Samba here in Brazil. You should check out the song "As Rosas Não Falam" by Cartola, I hope you like it. Keep on the good work, I love your lessons!
man, i love you for all your videos. i just gotta pick up more easy stuff, till i get a little closer to your level and rewatch all those videos again...
I've been playing guitar for many moons now, and have tried flamenco strumming umpteen times - and given up. I just play an approximation of it. I usually bash away at this type of sound in Am / G / F / E. Bm is so much better. You learn something every day.
I don't know how to say this, and I know it won't do you justice. But I'm so thankful to you and all the lessons you give in your channel, all for free.. Thanks a lot for sharing, and I hope you'll continue it as I enjoy it very much and I learned a lot from your channel. Best wishes to you!
I recently got into flamenco/spanish guitar, learning it by myself was a pain after years of playing metal. But you have all the tools for me improve, thanks a lot for these vids man!
This is an awesome lesson! So much to learn, but all very doable for the average guitarist. I've wanted, lately, to learn flamenco style guitar and here we have an excellent lesson to begin that journey. Wow!
+David Janes (Taylor Dreaming) Absolutely.. Being in the same key also contributed to that.. Also, this shed a VERY bright light on the theory behind Sunha Jung's cover of it. The person who arranged it did a brilliant job..
great lesson, I always was thinking about to combine some flamenco chords with basic chords to create some nice sound, thanks for introducing that, I have to learn that yet.
this was the first video from you that I watched. at the beginning I was like who is this dude trying to teach flamenco with that guitar ;) (I was too judgmental) but you are actually very to the point! thanks for the great lesson man. SO LOVE your dogs especially the older yawning one who got bored of flamenco and left.
Thank you so much for this. You just gave an ocean to work with. I was looking for a scale to work with which sounds mysterious but you made it so easy! Thank you so much bro! God bless you for this! Rockstar!
wow ive know all these chords for a while now, and after watching this video ive never had so much fun playing with them and making my own sound! amazing video easy concept. i guess your i'am having easier time understanding your videos or its just that easy hahahhahaha. thank you for your content!
im a flamenco guitarrist and i follow your channel since i started playing (i like all sorts of music) and i got to say you can mix flamenco (mostly rumba, other subgenres dont get along too much) and blues really well... you should take a look to raimundo amador, he mixes really well both genres. greetings from spain man, nice video!
hey. i really like your tutorials. i picked up the guitar like 2 month ago and i wondered how easy it is to learn if you have a guy who gives excellent advice!!! THUMBS UP BIG TIME!!! i'd really like to know how to create the sound at 15:05. It looks easy but i'm not sure about the fingermovements. does this technique have a name?

You're an amazing teacher. Have learned so much from your channel. Much thanks!
That is definitely one of the most helpful videos about guitar I've seen on RUclips. I bow down to you, really great material. Inspiring.
Nice sequence. You can also add a harmonic minor scale (a#) over the first and last chords

Very good lesson, giving the basic theory but focussing on more on expression and experimentation 👌

Picking sounds like Hotel California. Love it.

Hotel California chords are Flamenco, that's why Gypsy KIngs covered it
Bienvenidos al hotel California, such a loving place, such a lovely place
Very nice… as I’m more comfortable in Am and E, I use the Am Gm Fm Emaj progression instead.
Thank you! Beautiful. I'm in love with flamenco sound. I'm going to wrestle with this lesson till I master it.
Great video, really REALLY appreciate it. The G has the tension but I think F# resolves the tension.
