      Thank you Nancy.
Some people don't realize I've made this video for you, for our community.
Sinclair's company (which he confounded, hence "his") filed a request to activate
the preclusion provision of section 201. Meaning, a request to stop the sale. It already happened.
And the FDA already sent a warning letter to abide.
We have 4 historical examples (of section 201) of what happens in those situations.
This is the time to put public pressure on his company. The FDA won't follow through if his company won't go further.
The only unknown here is what role or control Sinclair himself has in this situation.
And I clearly stated, repeatedly, that we don't know.
I'm taking here personal risks myself to support our community. To put me forth like this.

I'll explain it for him. His company (he?) knows that by filing the IND that by law prevents the retail over-the-counter sale of the thing that is the subject of the IND, and will do so for much longer if the thing gets FDA approval as a drug. His company is spending money on research o get it approved as a drug, and wants to make money eventually. If they don't present research regarding the drug's efficacy, doctors won't prescribe it for various treatments, and drug companies and governments won't provide it for particularized uses. This is unlike NAC, for which the FDA. approved exclusive uses as a drug have long ago expired. So when, if, NMN comes off the shelves, just switch to NR, which is more effective by weight than NMN anyway. NMN is NR (Nicotinamide riboside) with a phosphate molecule attached. The phosphate molecule make Non to large to enter the NR kinase pathway into a cell. So, if NMN is taken orally, it has to cast the phosphate to enter the cell as NR. It then pickup a phosphate molecule intracellular, and converts bac to NMN, and then the nd product - NAD. And no, thee is not a dedicated kinase pathway for NMN to enter a cell intact.

The upside of a drug company testing a drug that might reverse Alzheimers and Freidreich’s Ataxia is they have the money to do high quality research, and if their research shows that the drug works, the number of people who take NMN will be many, many times greater than it is now.

As a holistic doctor I’m disappointed at this point in time. I share your thoughts and feelings. My suspicion is that NMN may work as well as or close to as well as the new potential drug. So it appears to be a money thing for company and investors that could charge $$$$$ for the drug compared to $ that NMN cost. And do they really want to help the great number of people with NMN for $ ????? It’s not about safety to ban NMN. And if we are well with NMN the new drug would possibly not have the selling point they could get with the drug.

There does need to be a large public outcry in which politicians are getting pressure from their constituents and unfortunately competitor companies paying lobbyists to influence legislation.

Because we also changed our diet to low carb with intermittent fasting and supplementation with various specific vitamins so I can't say specifically that the NAD precursors made a difference. We started with Dr. Gundry's products, then felt like we were getting snake oiled. I still believe that Gundry has his finger on the pulse of longevity research but he's trying and is making a fortune. We tend to think if a researcher makes money from his research he's a sell out. This is nothing new for Sinclair. A few years he popularized resveratrol as a potent anti-aging substance. He then started a company that allegedly had a far more potent form of resveratrol, but it was a drug. The company was then sold for $720 million, but the drug turned out to be an abject failure and was never released. Sinclair is a scientist, but he is also an opportunist, and I question his motives. No legitimate scientist who studies aging would suggest that it was a disease that has a cure, as Sinclair does all the time. A lot of people put him on a pedestal because of his frequent outlandish statements, but those who are rational and have a knowledge of how true science works know better.

Requiring doctors to prescribe NMN is not really a viable option as doctors are only required to take 1 class in nutrition and information online is more up to date than the doctors! Please petition!

Sinclair knew what he was creating and aggressively created a demand to remove it from the market to control supply. These minerals balance out calcium that may over-signal heart muscle - also incorporate more calcium-channel blockers in food - ginseng, turmeric, olive leaf estract are Ca+ channel blockers, just to name a few, there is tons, usually in plant food. Avoid meat-heavy food and refined.
Hawthorn extract act more through other mineral channels but also beneficial. More indirect effects would be through beta-adrenergic receptor blockers (beta-blockers for short) - hawthorn has indirect effect there as well, as well as magnesium and curcumin that lower stress hormones that act on beta-receptors.
In recent times, spike proteins from biological weapons destroy gut bacteria - ths in turn has effect on vascular health. So keep the gut healthy - eat fiber (not huge amounts when not used to yet), fermented food (not huge amounts when not used to yet), turmeric and resveratrol, omega-3, absinthum species plants, oregano, many other spices control the pathogens in the gut (you might not feel them grow but the effect is through immune and inflammatory processes in the body) - gorwing healthy gut flora takes time and all of the treatments (curcumin, NMN, resveratrol, phytoestrogens in soy, flax seed) act through bacteria first metabolizing the components - so the changes take time for months or few years - don't expect quick changes -

I've taken NMN, which I first heard about from Sinclair, for about two- three years now. It has made a HUGE difference in my well being and the prospect of losing access to it is awful.
And for you it is even worse because of your wife. You should have access to all treatments to help her!
But that's where I stand right now. This sucks and I'm angry.
On a brighter note, I've recently found a good supplement that I think will activate SIRT6! I'm very excited about it!

1st of all, on reading Sinclair's book where he seems to say "all of these longevity discoveries are for you, the general public" a suspicious bell went off in my head. These discoveries are for the people who can pay, & they are for the financial benefit of those working on the discoveries. In other words, longevity through chemistry is for the wealthy. That's a no brainer. But the disgusting aspect of all this, is to take a substance, like NMN, which was not invented by Sinclair, et al, and which is already being used by the public, and designate it for exclusive use by a company who intends to make big bucks off of it is pure corruption. But that's the unwritten role of the FDA, protect drug company profits.

Being 1000 times more potent is not in itself a large benefit. The proper metric is a cost-benefit curve.
Unless their new drug pushes that cost benefit curve out in some way, whether reaching benefits impossible for NMN to reach, or reaching the same benefit more *economically*, the increasing potency doesn't matter. We're currently talking about a gram of NMN as the scale of a dose. 10 grams, a tenth of a gram, who cares? If the *optimal* dose is in that range, with the optimal dose for his drug simply scaled smaller because of potency, then I'll take the more economical of the two.

Note, this occurred after Amazon banned NMN in January 2023. Boils down to da MONEY ! Just like STATINS their cost to the cost of niacin which does basically the same but one is prescription the other over the counter , and many other drugs that are prescribed but can find alternative over the counter , If Sinclair has found a more effective product than that of nmn then the obvious thing to do is like any other competitive product either purchase the rights or find a way to prevent the consumer from using it and then PROMOTE your product at YOUR price ! So if investment in new product and new product better than the previous one and want a return on the better product and your the sponsor of the previous one , and still save face ! Then have the FDA BAN it for you ! Not your fault ! But hey got something better for my loyal consumer ! But the FDA Has to Approve It First and then NOT my FAULT but it going to be by prescription only ! and at HIGHER PRICE ! Not my Fault ! I love people ( money ) ! Investments and investors are there for PROFITS, Squeeze and SQUEEZE ! Then once the FDA bans nmn then those who had faith in humanity will be at the mercy of a prescribed product that would have to be given from a person that would make the decision if you are WORTHY of using this product and at the same time the person that prescribed you the product is looking younger all the time ! Or the FDA may ban the old product and the new product for the consumer and. Allow it's use for research only ! Just like the substance Trodusquemine discovered in cancer research and found with one treatment in mice it CLEARED ALL CHLOSTEROL PLAQUE in their little mouse body ! Now since Heart Disease is a Main killer How would Trodusquemine have an impact on saving human life ? BUT by the FDA it is BANNED for consumer but ALLOWED for RESEARCH ONLY ! WHAT ? WOW ! GOOGLE IT !

Daivid Sinclairs business is developing new medicins. As I understand what he said is that he has asked FDA to regulate NMN. That is not the same as banning it. Now the FDA may have rules in regards to this request and that may be to stop selling NMN over the counter until it can be regulated or be denied regulation. Anyways there are at least one company out there who sells NMN as a chemical and not as a supplement. A ban should only apply to supplements so even the Americans should be able to get around this if it happens.

Sinclair's company (which he confounded, hence "his") filed a request to activate the preclusion provision of section 201. Meaning, a request to stop the sale. It already happened.
And the FDA already sent a warning letter to abide.
We have 4 historical examples (of section 201) of what happens in those situations. This is the time to put public pressure on his company.
