In 2000 ironically, futuristic inspired clothing was a thing due to the excitement for the new millennium along with a revival of styles from the 60s/70s such as bootcut/flare jeans, boho chic, chunky shoes, and bandanas.
Pretty inaccurate. They had everyone kitted out in regency style outfits which couldn't have missed the mark further. They also were dead wrong about women NOT wearing "less and less". Western women show more skin in the 21st century than anytime since we were all Cavemen.
+Patrick3183 I was just wondering why i pictured Pride and prejudice. This was so wrong, when you take older predictions they were much nearer to truth.
Well, considering they were looking 40 years into the future, they weren't that horrible. Jackets with Zippers are totally a thing (also, in a way some of them are military inspired, hence bomber jackets). So they put the female model in a full length formal gown 🙄
why was this recommended to me after watching danny’s video
ayy me too
Lol we basically wear what they did XD

I wear that now
Turns out almost everyone just ended up wearing sweat pants & tops in the 21st century.
How depressing..
I love how even though they say that what was fashionable yesterday is ugly today but yet all of the predictions of 2000 look like yesterday.
"Women will wear less" Well, they got that part right! They just thought it'd still cover our whole bodies.
In the middle 20th century ('50s and '60s), people thought in the 21st century there would be flying cars. Since 2000, it never happened.....
