Get to know the staff. Schmooze them ! They can tell you what stays, what goes, when deliveries arrive, make markdowns for you on last date of sale items, give you the circular in advance or advise you of what is going to be on special in the near future 😉 !
Too bad you don't have Aldi's up there to compete with your big five. I switched here in the US and my grocery bills are literally half. I pay $1 a pound for whole chicken and $2.20 for boneless, skinless breasts. Large eggs $2.75 a dozen. Most produce still under $1 pound. Grass fed 85-15 ground beef for $4.95 a pound. Whole milk $2 for a half gallon. Aldi's Summit brand soda for $8 a case. And a pretty good Shiraz for $3.45. And by the way, this is in California.
I've shopped at Aldi when I didn't need to b/c prices are always lower and Aldi has some good quality products. I'm finding now that those who were too proud to shop at Aldi have changed over to Aldi and buying up things like organic gass fed ground beef for $5.49 a pound and leaving none for the rest of us. I do shop the higher end grocery stores b/c they have awesome sales esp their bogo. If money were no issue I'd shop them all the time b/c it is nice in those stores...
@@dinahsoar6982 Yeah I don't buy my tomatoes at Aldi's for quality reasons, but they're as low as 49 cents a pound. I go across the street to Smart and Final and pay $1.49 for beefsteak tomatoes.
Wow!!!😮😮😮😮

Trudeau's Canada. It's insane here in Kelowna as well.
We're not far behind you here in the U.S.

High prices. Higher than the U.S. by 30-50%. I don't know why they would abbreviate the milk as Homo milk. I know is Homogenized but c'mon.
It was a reference to the country in general I think. They're extremist liberals for voting Turdeau in every election.
The milk is gay
Not as bad as it looks to Americans. 1 USD = 1.362656 CAD Jun 04, 2024
Only if you have USD.
Ohhhhh my that’s very high
Looks reasonable to me
Plus don’t you have free healthcare?
I wouldn’t be complaining if I were you…
I can tell you with 100 certainty "nothing" in life is "free" sweetheart. lmao
Yikes!
