2 Years later..... The Driver is Karl Schagerl and the Tuner is him selfe and the Carworkshop he ownes.

What engine is this?
+Loki "anti lag" is the same, retarding ignition is a way for the computer to slow the engine down to ease the stress on the dogs in the gearbox. Retarding the timing also puts an incompletely combusted air fuel mixture into the exhaust, which is what puts the turbo under load when launching (theory behind anti lag).
Ricardo Panini a highly modified mk5 gti engine, there's a full feature of this car in may 2016 performance vw magazine.
