Nice reaction! Trouble Will Find Me is my favourite National album - so many great songs on there (I Should Live In Salt, Sea of Love, Heavenfaced, I Need My Girl, and Pink Rabbits being my favourites). I haven't heard I Am Easy to Find yet, but this song was lovely. Glad Phil liked it! It's quite special when something you kind of disliked magically clicks and grows on you - I've found some of my favourite music that way. Thanks for sharing, both!
I've been watching Ricky Gervais' show "After Life ". I love it, it's dark and outside the box. This song would fit in perfectly as a closer for an episode. I'm liking it even more...
Hi Phil. I'm wondering if you liked the Matt Berninger solo album or the album he put out under the name El Vy. I'm a sucker for deep voiced singers like him, Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave and so on. I've been listening to a band called The Golden Dregs lately. A similar vibe. They're fairly new. Their most recent single is called John but I think my favorite song by them is Ultimate Fighting Champion. I do enjoy the back and forth you have with Greg. Always good fun.
I am easy to find is a sort of concept album. All the song were written to accompany a movie project. Honestly, in my opinion, is another masterpiece by the National. A more mature album full of feelings, where Matt mix his voice with many others. There are many beautiful and most of all interesting song in that album…light years is just one of them. I suggest to listen: oblivions , i am easy to find (both songs are about the relationship between 2 long time partners), Rylan, Quiet light, Where is her head (those last 3 are not Boring at all imho)
Not sure if you’ve reacted to anything by Galaxie 500? I think you might really like them! Try their song ‘4th of July’ or ‘When will you come Home’….Probably one of the most overlooked American band from the late 80’s/ early 90’s. Their sound is Heavily influenced by the Velvet Underground.
Hi Greg & Phil. Like Phil I didn't like the album when I first heard it. To be honest I probably didn't make it to the end of the album. I'll have to give it another listen cuz I did like this.
@@intothemusic908 Why I do believe that deserves a free review don't ya think? 🙂 Seriously though this channel has been my favorite RUclips discovery in a while
I'll do my best, David, but no guarantee considering the songs I have for my team to do, my own solo ones, and the requests coming in from KoFi. No pressure, but there is the KoFi option of having me guarantee a reaction.

@G R I know El Vy, it's good. He's upbeat on the one song which got a lot of airplay here in NY. I'll have to check out you suggestion. Thanks!
Couldn't agree with you more, Phil!

Glad you enjoyed it, Glenn!
Using spitfire for your intro is an excellent addition
Glad you think so! You're also the first person who's made mention. Thanks!

Hi Greg and Phil, enjoyed that reaction. Would you do a reaction to Winter In The Hamptons by Josh Rouse. Thanks 👍
Hmmm...I wonder if that's is good as his Christmas in Queens. I love that Christmas song of his which sounds like an adult Charlie Brown special.

@@intothemusic908 Thanks Greg, you and the team are covering a lot of great songs, I'm enjoying listening to them.
