Love The Magnetic Fields, my favourite album is 'Holiday' which came out close to this record. 'Take Ecstasy with Me' is a favourite.

Love The Magnetic Fields. Finally got to see them live last year. If you’re enjoying Stephen Merritt’s songwriting, check out some of his other projects: The 6ths, Future Bible Heroes and the Gothic Archies are all great.

There's lots of great songs by The Magnetic Fields to check out. One of my favourites is The Nun's Litany but the acoustic version Merritt did for BBC 4. It's just him and his ukulele. It's sad, beautiful and funny.
