Was waiting on this part two.... And BAM here it is. Thanks Sean, for putting out all types of content on your channel. Twoheads with Christopher hopefully soon. 🤘🏼
I’m a big fan of teriyaki steak, noodles, etc. so I’m sure I would dig the burger. “Probably shouldn’t have smelled it…” conjures up so many follow up one liners! 😂
This was really fascinating Sean. To see the different items they had at McDonalds in Japan. The green cream soda i thought was a shamrock shake when you first got it. The bacon potato pie sounded interesting but your face when you ate it told a different story. Glad to hear at least the fries were consistently good. Really fun video Sean. Best to you sir
At least you had the bonus of the food looking like the advertised image !! Here in the UK the fast food, especially Mac Donald’s is diabolically presented and often looks like it’s been trodden on before it’s put in the box ! Hope you’re gonna work off all those calories Sean.😏
Yay! Your food reviews are back! ♥️ Also, you and me eat the same! I'm always dropping things and making a mess too. My brother gets irrationally frustrated at me. Not even kidding. My brother's gf recently made fun of me and said I "eat like Edward Scissorhands". Coming from anyone else, I would have appreciated and loved that observation but coming from her, I know there's malice underneath. Ugh. Anyway, long live adult messy eaters! I really thought it was just me......I'm kinda crying now but it's good tears, lol.
While serving in the United States Marine Corps in 1992, I was stationed on the island of Okinawa Japan for a year. The city of Naha had a McDonalds, and I was totally "WEIRDED OUT" by the menu. I tried to play it safe and get a burger as the rest of the menu was all Greek to me. I did not like the burger. The beef tasted different and did not resemble the American version at all. I never ate at McDonald's in Okinawa Japan again. I must say, some of the food items you purchased looked appetizing, but my dining experience was also 32 years ago. Thanks for the video, Sean
Your face said it all when you had the potatoe bacon pie. Japan looks like an awesome place to see! Really interesting video, I enjoyed watching you tasting stuff. Made me hungry haha thanks man!🤘🏻
Since you're in Japan I think you could be the first one to hunt down the filming locations for Japanese horror films like Ringu, Ju on the Grudge, etc and locations even for Kaiju films?
They actually serve their apple pies fried? I’ve never gotten to try a fried one. When I worked at Mickey ds we always baked them lol. But looking it up it says they stopped frying them in 92.
Now Sean matey, i don't think i would like that potato and bacon pie either, tell you what ,was just thinking of you doing a clucking chicken rooster call at 05.00am in the morning in the hotel landings waking up the guests lololol sorry just my stupid humour mate lol loved the video as always.
The sad thing is its highly likely its less artificial that the shit they sell in the US. But Americans are so engrained to think that the artificial shit tastes so great. Literally every other country on the planet has higher food standards and higher regulations for what garbage additives, preservatives etc. can be in their food. Its why chocolate from ANY other country on the planet tastes worlds better than the shit and garbage filled chocolate sold in the US.
My mother always told me when trying something different, live dangerously. I've tried some some different foods and drinks, like a black bean burger and some sort of Chocolate coffee drink at a upstairs cafeteria while visiting a Aquarium in the Seattle area, where I hope you and the Scream cast returns to at some point. I would love to meet them, especially Neve and Matthew.
This is so fun to watch! I’d love to have that lime cream soda 💚. Also in England they never use any salt on anything, guess it’s different in Japan? And no ice cream?….friggin figures even in Asia their ice cream woes never go away 😂
I miss the deep fried apple pies McDonalds used to sell, it’s not the same without that added danger of the contents scolding your chin for life! Keep up the great work Sean love all the posts.
I don’t know why but at 4AM in the morning working a double and starving since I haven’t eaten in hours. Just watching someone eat and try food is a whole other level of content I didn’t think could get me through the rest of my shift or even my hunger. Probably making it worse but ehhhh oh well.
Damn they should try that shaq a shaq potato here in the states, or different flavors maybe Cajun, texmex, or something? You know what I’m getting at. Should of grabbed a bunch of extra packets to bring back to the U.S. 😜 Anyway cool eats their in Osaka!
Sean, did you think about trying chicken sashimi while in Japan. I saw Anthony Bourdain eat Toriashi during an episode at a Yakitori restaurant in Japan. He liked it. Chickens are raised much differently in Japan than the US. Still, I’d probably pass on eating raw chicken.
The bacon potato pie is seasonal. Mos burger has better chicken burgers. Hope you tried some Japanese food and not just McDonald's during your visit. Did you try the beef bowls, katsudon and Osaka famous dish of okonomiyaki.
I love the content he makes but he's so Americanized the food in Japan hell Asia in general is so much better then the crap they sell in the states oh what I wouldn't give for some dried squid from there But ty nevertheless for the awesome content you do sir.
I love seafood! Especially sushi! I get why they don't do Big Gulps at 711 in Japan. They see the obesity issues America faces due to too much consumption of sugary drinks.
I wonder where they source all of their ingredients. But man of all the things you could eat in Japan, I would stay far the fuck away from mcdonald's. On second thought I'm not a seafood guy either. And isn't that mostly what they eat?
Mcdonald's in America is poisoning us. Sadly, actually every fast food joint is, but I would love to try it in other countries because they use real ingredients. That's probably why your diet Coke didn't taste like America diet Coke. It probably doesn't have aspartame in it I assume. Now I'm hungry for McDonald's.

Thanks for the vid, loved it! It sounded like the Droogs were next to you at McDonalds.

The increasing disgust on your face with the bacon potato pie literally made me laugh out loud.
Yep, laughed at that too 😆

Watching your face slowly change after taking the first bite of the Bacon Potato Pie was quite enjoyable.
Cool to see how the menu looked.

Sean sure do like his McDees French fries.
