Robert was able to get access to the filming ranch where they shot the cabin, lake and barn from Friday the 13th Part 3-D and he was kind enough to invite myself and our friend Brian Koppel along. We ended up making a day of it and hit up all of the location from Part 3 including one that hasn't been seen before!

This was awesome! Part 3 was the first horror movie I can remember watching with my grandma (without my mom knowing of course)...my grandma was a huge horror fan and I'd always spend a weekend with her picking horror movies to get into...I inherited her horror VHS collection when she passed in '97 and Part 3 has always been my go to for nostalgia and it holds a special place in my heart so this is too cool to see all the original filming locations...thanks for this and for that interview with Jason at the end, very informative! haha...subbed to ya man

My family currently owns two cabins on Bouquet Canyon. Pronounced like BO - KAY not BO-KET LOL The store was called The Falls Cafe (if I remember correctly) & was a cafe/bar and had a general store. It sat empty for a while and someone bought it & they never did anything with it & it was finally demolished. (No one in my family seems to know why it was demolished.) There was an episode of Beverly Hills 90210 that was filmed there in 1991. We purchased our first cabin up there in '92 so I believe it was demolished sometime in the early 90's. Hope this helps & if I get anymore info from family or neighbors I'll pass it your way. Keep up the good work. I always look forward to your location vids.

@@malfuncsean you're welcome! I have friends that were there in Green Valley for the filming and still live there to this day & have great stories of being kids and watching them film the scene at the store and how cool Nick Savage was to them all and signed autographs for them.

I love each uploader's perspective of these Friday The 13th Locations...The attention to detail with backgrounds/landmarks etc is impressive....The main cabin/house that burned down, was also used as the Motel/Apartment main reception in the 1996 movie "BULLETPROOF" starring Damon Wayans & Adam Sandler....

Right behind Vera's house was where they captured one of the Santa Mira alley shots for Halloween III. The black building that Robert points out was back then the Cinderella Beauty Salon and you can see the sign for it in Halloween III.

This was incredible. Been waiting for this one. One of my favorite movies and one that made me the massive Friday the 13th fan I am. I am so happy they’re going to be rebuilding the house and adding other elements to the site like the bridge. I hope to be able to visit it one day. Thanks so much Sean. Happy New Year. I made it to Blairstown, NJ in 2016 and found all these locations for the original Friday movie! Love the adventure of finding fun places.

Yes and I believe he was the first. Mad props to him. Scott on Tape also did this one. Both did great jobs. I was glad I was able to do it as well and add a never before seen location to my version in the process.

But I do know that Filming Location the House & Barn were used in Season 2 of The A Team Episode 17. Pure-Dee Poison .... if they do Rebuild the House from Friday the 13th Part 3 I would love to be there when they Start Building but if I can't be there I hope you are Sean 👍.

I saw this movie at its opening in 1982 at the drive-in. At the ripe old age of 10. No wonder I was freaked out and scared shitless when Rick's eye got popped out. And that my friends is why I'm a horror fan for life. Thanks for sharing this memorable location guys.

Part 3 (Aside from the have assed 3-D stuff we never got to experience in full) is my second favorite Friday film.

clearly all of the houses In the background are no longer there It's all nothing but new apartment building's Is In the place of the old houses
There is one house still there just to the left of the apartments it was just obscured by the tree. It looks really out of place now. I should have gotten a shot of it. If you look when I’m pointing out where the van was parked you can kind of see it behind the tree.
My favorite Friday the 13th. Great video! Fireplaces live forever man, the one from The Evil Dead is still standing too.

I do like the funky disco theme of Friday The 13th Part III, I can kind of see Jamie Lee from Prom Night boogeying along with it in my mind's eye. I also like how everyone and everything is poking things at the camera lens for the 3-D - someone's scratching their head, and, oops, I just thrust my hand in an exaggerated fashion at the camera.
imagine if someone would have filmed these locations say 1984 or 1985.. it would mostly look the same...

I always assumed Jason got his change of clothes from the clothesline but today was the first time I noticed that when the woman turns the TV off and looks back outside you can see the shirt and pants he wore in the rest of the movie now missing from the clothesline.
They sure did a good job in _III_ in making New Jersey look like California . . .

The final girl in this film appeared I another horror film called sweet sixteen .I hope you can do that one as well. That's one of my other favorites I saw that one when it first came out in theaters as well as Friday part 3
