khalil williams they took steroids but way less, but steroids were more effective back then. They also worked out harder and longer. Many of them worked out 4-6 hours a day. Bill pettis did arms up to 6 hours a day. Albert beckles trained 3 times a day.

They said it was Animal House Gym in the broadcast, but that's incorrect, it was a Gold's Gym in Pembroke Pines, FL (the city where he lived, and still does). He became a member in 1990 when he moved to the area, and was there all the way up until the early 2,000's. I have no idea why they said Animal House, which was in Hollywood, FL. It was within 5 or 6 miles of us, and he might have trained there a couple of times, but his home gym was Gold's. I literally used to see him there every day.

U have got to give it to Arnold. He as promoted BB to the fullest extent possible. From a measly $1000 for the Winner in the 70s! to $100,000+Car in the 90s! what a jump!
