Yeah I was ready for a standard parental support story; I was not ready for Dad actually going down to the basement like an Asian mom supervising their kid's piano practice. It seems Tom really inherited a lot of determination the way he responded to the weightlifter's attempt to get rid of him as an elementary school kid with an absurd request by actually coming back with the shoes! I love stories like that.

Him and I had an intense 30 minute conversation, and it still makes me smile and emotional when I think about it. He truly made me feel seen and that I mattered. Someone he had never met before, heard me and understood me. Every word he speaks is meticulously thought out, and laced with inspiration. There’s a warmth and kindness in his eyes and his smile that make you feel comfortable. He’s the kindest, most genuine person I’ve ever met. I’m forever grateful for meeting him, he’s a once in a lifetime champion on and off the stage.

No BS and very forthcoming. That's what this sport needs. Regarding the subject, Platz has been a great ambassador for bodybuilding ever since I can remember. Very humble guy with a great physique. He deserved to place above Franco as Franco was showcasing what untreated gyno looks like. That should never be rewarded on an Olympia stage. Man, further the video goes the more I start to hate Arnold for his bullshit behavior. The fact that Arnold told the judges about the torn bicep was a scummy move from him

Tom is a class act for being that kind to Franco. He was totally undeserving of that win. Even Arnold was more deserving of the 1980 win compared to Franco in 1981. Nothing on Franco looked amazing. His chest looked horrible. I’m not sure if he was knocked down points for his leg injury but he should have been if not. I really wonder why Arnold told that to the judges. Franco wasn’t competing and Tom never said a bad word about him. I sometimes wonder if Arnold is sociopathic.

Amazing video... I saw you post it when I was at the beach hotel and couldn't wait to watch it! You never disappoint and it was just so energising and awesome I was just getting something wanting to be released from the inside. The urge to already be at my peak on stage and inspire people, pose with ALL MY HEART. No other video had made me feel the same way as I just did now. I had the thought of becoming a bodybuilder the past few days maybe a week and a bit max... Thought was always in my head but after this video... I'm sure of it. I'll help people, inspire them, give advice and come in my unique way to the stage. Mark my words... If i dont make it with the other things I wanna be in life I will always have a plan B... Either I achieve both, or still achieve greatness and one cant be achieved without the other now that I think of it. I just need to make one thing work then im guaranteed to succeed in life... I'm currently on my biggest downfall of all and stress is getting the better of me, but I will rise up from this i won't give up like Kevin Levrone didn't... "Maybe your life isn't falling apart, maybe its falling in place"
    -Kevin Levrone

That’s a champion’s mindset you have right here, if you keep it up I’m pretty sure you’re gonna make it sooner or later. I wish you the best of luck with everything, and remember what Tom used to say “the only place to go from failure is to win”. This quote has helped me personally multiple times. So the only way to go for you now is up. You got it 💪 ❤️

Even after hearing that tom platz quote for ages I now realised my position thanks to you. So the only place to go from here is to win... I also wish you good luck brother pursue whatever it is you desire and never give up on your goals, never procrastinate or doubt your own limits. By the way for the next video I think Kevin Levrone will be very inspiring and motivating. Also a really great story so if you find enough material to structure a video I will be eager to watch it as soon as it comes out. Definitely the most underrated youtube channel atm.🫶💪

Tom is my all time favorite body builder and no one can ever replace him, he was indeed ahead of time with the things and concepts he did, absolutely amazing. Goes to show not all heros wear capes and not all champions have a medal to prove that they are. Arnold did those guys so dirty but you can't cry over spilled milk, whats done is done but Tom will forever be one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time. Absolutely legend video iron, i appreciate what you did here.
