The ladder little giant on QVC being sold while a caller calls in and makes the Host of QVC and the Rep for little giant ladder caught in headlights !! Love live TV!!!
lol... That was always a running joke when I was a BMW stealership tech... When the transmissions and stuff came out with "lifetime fluid" , we said "yup, it lasts for whatever the lifetime of the trans happens to turn out to be..."
It's the worst ladder we ever bought. Extremely difficult to use, the steps are too thin, it wobbles, very heavy and setting up the different heights is a huge pain. Needless to say, we got rid of it. I wouldn't doubt it if most of the good reviews were fake.
That is why they have essentially stopped ALL live calls from viewers. HSN and QVC. They dont do it anymore. It stopped right around when covid started. They know how many ppl are on edge and want to say something for everyone to hear. They cant have people calling in and mentioning politics or if global warming is fake or how screwed up the country is.... They know its not worth the risk, of having one caller say something controversial and then pissing off millions of other viewers who dont feel the same way. Then somebody else would call in and say "that last caller is an idiot, here is the real truth about the world.....", etc, etc.
@@canucklehead70 The point is he's going to make more of an impact by suing the company or whatever vs calling American's Shopping Network and treating the hosts like they screwed him over. Nobody wants a defective product, obviously.
The person who ends the call certainly should be. The host tried to end the call multiple times by saying "Stay on the line" but the caller was still faded up.

Today’s lesson. Trust no one! Money is the only reason this show exists. Has nothing at all to do with quality products or warranty’s. Once they get your money, they don’t care about you. Or the quality of the product. Or the warranty. You pay so much for extended warranties, and they do every thing to keep from honoring them.
@@Dead_ham lol ya we were always taught don't become a ground potential and these dudes i see work on them doing electrical are carrying ground potential with them.
This looks like such a convoluted gimmick. Hard to see what its use case is when a conventional ladder would work just fine and most people already have them.
*I dunno what this guy's so upset about ....* *It says right there on the box in nanoscopoc print:* *"PURCHASE OF THIS PRODUCT ACKNOWLEDGES VOID OF WARRANTY".* *I mean, jeeze Louise!*
You want to be a ladder salesman? Why wait 50 years? Start today. Buy 10 ladders, see if you can sell them for 5% profit. If you can't, you still end up with 10 ladders. It's a win either way. Go for it. I believe in you.
We've been using them in commercial metal building construction for around 20 years. They are great as a step ladder. I myself own two. I weigh 300 lbs. I've got one rated for I think 350 or 400 lbs. I trust it.
I have a similar ladder...it weighs like 200+ pounds. Once you get it where you're going, you're good, but holy smokes no one in family other than me can budge it
I'm telling yah. These ladders are GARBAGE! Those foldable extension ladders they sold were also GARBAGE! They would not support much weight whatsoever without breaking. They'd maybe support a small lightweight person but that's about it. There's a reason good quality ladders are expensive.
He knows it's a Little Giant ladder Biff.....because it says "LITTLE GIANT" in big freaking letters ....dont insult the guys intelligence after you sold him a piece of crap...
Working on QVC or HomeShopping or any other program hawking crap must be like the telemarketing of video, except these are actors who couldn't get the gig they hoped and settled for whatever they could find. Channels like these are hiring all the time it seems.
Oooh wee!! I never saw that before - why did he feel the need to do that in national television? Did he feel like that was the only way to confront the store? This man is likely just a rep not the owner. One time i took something out on a rep for some really shady practice, but i felt bad later because she was just an employee.
🙂 Hello, friendly reminder that Jesus loves you and wants you to repent so that one day heaven will be your home. 🙂 Be sure to share this with those you care about. 😇
If 'Little Giant' ladders have a lifetime warranty it shouldn't matter where he purchased it. The company shouldn't 't just offer lifetime warranties for their product(s) at one retailer and not all. That's shifty business practices. That company rep saying that he doesn't even know if he has the same ladder was one of the most ignorant and cowardly comments and it was horrible customer service. IT SHOULD NOT MATTER EITHER WAY!!!!!!!! That should have made anyone watching and thinking about buying the ladder question the customer service and lifetime warranty. He had the perfect opportunity to let potential buyers know that his company stands by their products and always honors their lifetime warranty for their products no matter what. Just how he handled the callers complaint I would never buy one of their products. Act as though he does have your product and help him!!!! But, he probably didn't. He sounds like a jerk who just doesn't return calls or leaves customers on hold..........forever. However, Costco has a crazy return policy, so he should have just returned it, to do. more research on Little Giant's lifetime warranty and look for customers reviews on whether they truly honor it or not. I hope he got the HELP HE DESERVED TO GET!!!!!!
I agree 100% instead of taking the opportunity to show they backed the product, he made ignorant, defensive comments, thus making potential customers question the product.
What you were seeing was two people trying to sell ladders while also keeping their jobs. If the little giant rep was empowered at all he would've gave the guy a free ladder and moved on.
I agree. That's why companies need to start watching out what they put in print. Like me, I collect comic books. But some I don't want. So I go to a comic book store because they say they do trades or buy unwanted comics. But as soon as I take my unwanted comic book for a trade or to sale it, they look at me like if I'm trying to steal food off there table! Don't say things that then you want to back pedal on companies. That's why I did that once and never did it again.
I imagine retailers try to get incentives to buy a product at their store vs another place. Wouldn't be surprised if a company agreed to only offer the full warranty through "store x".
The lifetime warranty was for the Ladder not the buyer.
Once the ladder died, so did the warranty.
Lol. Gotta get that multiple lifetime warranty. Lol

The man of the phone is amazing. He's at his wits end trying to get people to honor their word, he called QVC to bitch to them.
They screen their calls hard too he must of kissed ass just to get on then pulled a 360

Lmao at the end. "Tell our viewers about the warranty!" "Ahhhh, ummmm, Ughhh, I really can't say much..." 😂

I've used one ot was great
I have a 22 ft Little Giant ladder and it is awkward, when using it alone, in the 22 ft mode, other than that it's great.
They are very heavy. Similar to Gorilla ladders. Not as good as the fiberglass werner ladders you can pick up with one hand.
I've used them. Absolute pain to use. Horrible yo set up.
Mine is just fine. Then again, I'm a man that can actually lift 50 lbs.

It's the manufacturer of the ladder that handles the warranty I would have thought not the supplier.
