They used to have an outlet here in PSL, Florida where I live & I met a few folks that worked there in the warehouse - it was shocking some of the things they told me & how they were treated! Have lost respect for the company!
I'm so disappointed in qvc. Gary Goben on Denim & Co. looks lost without Carolyn Gracie. All those who are trying to replace Carolyn who is irreplaceable look miserable and phony and you can tell that they don't want to be there. Also pricing is excessive. Bring back Carolyn and Dan. They are real. The others are so fake I can't stand watching. I usually mute the tv when I'm watching.
Sorry, but I dislike QVC more and more. Their prices have become ridiculously high and the dismissal of beloved hosts is inexcusable. My days of purchasing from QVC are quickly coming to an end.
The prices are so high. I can't afford them anymore. Even denim and company has sky high prices...I think people must use easy pay and they have high credit card balances. How else are ppl affording these items?
I felt the exact same way and my reaction was like yours. I had left the room and came back to find Leah was gone! I was so upset, I thought they've replaced her like they did with Caroline and Dan😡. I changed the channel but clicked back a while later and Leah was back on again. Fine if they are simply teaming Leah up with another host but if they replace her, I will stop watching. My fav hosts are Leah, and Amy Stran. Also, QVC has become very expensive to shop so I have cut way back on my purchases and hit Marshalls a lot more then I used to. I pretty much just wait for the clearance sales. Love your reviews. 🥰
Same is going on in CANADA. TSC is so expensive and shipping charges +++++. TSC HAS GONE DOWN THE TUBES. THE HOSTS SHRILL LIKE THEY ARE AT A FAIR. THEY DO NOT GIVE ANY I FORMATION. THEY PUSH VERY VERY VERY EXPENSIVE JEWELRY.
I agree with all of you-QVC is not the same. Seems like when they merged with HSN the merchandise has become cheaper quality. HSN always had cheaper merchandise. The items they used to sell are no longer there. And most of the hosts are not likable. They truly have gone downhill. I used to have a package from them every week but no more. And you are RIGHT - the prices for clothes is ridiculous!!!!
I used to watch QVC every day 20 plus years spent so much money with them, and loved watching Saturday mornings while getting ready for work, Leah has always been one of my favorite hosts. I stopped shopping and watching altogether several years ago as the merchandise was getting low in quality, the connivence was no longer there, and the value is not so good as it's so overpriced.... so QVC is no more : ( Very sad
In my opinion, QVC has become Wal Mart specials. The quality of good, classy, and name brands has hit bottom. They just throw trash at people with high prices. I used to follow QVC exclusively, I loved the hosts, they became trusted friends for years. Now, they throw totally new people at we viewers every week, and they are not really good. It's like they're pulling people in off of the street. I'm sick and tired of "leisure" clothes, sweats, leggings. Even the models are few and not very professional. Their models used to be so classy. I'm getting pretty well done with QVC. Goodbye to a wonderful era of home shopping with QVC. Amazon's looking so good anymore. They've got good brands, and try it before you buy it with free returns.
I could care less about the hosts…it’s impossible to buy anything that looks like the price They are charging for their products. It’s ridiculous I have actually bought a few things That were just garbage that the so called hosts swear they use everyday. I know they want To sell but try better products.

LOGO kills me. When she brings a new design, it could be a new cotton shirt, sells for like $65 or more. Then look back in a few weeks, now it is $49. So, who in the heck is going to pay an ungodly price for the new item!!! DUH! Hard to watch the "love affair" between Lori "Lor" and Amy "Am". I can't watch it anymore, a turnoff.

One more comment......QVC wants a younger audience, but they forget who is their consistant audience. The younger buyers shop a lot online but it is your mature buyers who have more money and the time to watch the shows. They buy on trust and value. The majority of the new hosts don't build that trust. That is what made Carolyn Gracie and Dan so valuable. Foolish decision QVC.
Do not like Jane she talks all over every one and Leah is one of the best host on the show. None of these people need sidekicks.. I have purchased very little because I can’t stand to turn on and Jane is on every night. Sorry she rude to others
I totally agree. Jane has been talking non-STOP, since she started QVC. I know her tongue is extremely happy when she sleep, so it can finally stop flapping and can get some rest. Whew!!😂
I truly hate when they have two hosts! I used to love a few hosts but once they’re competing with another host it’s no fun. They talk over each other and act too silly. Once I saw the competitive nature it made me dislike hosts I used to like. Leah is one of my favorite! She’s classy and stylish.
The talking over each other makes it too hard to watch and I end up turning it off. Too much yakity yak about nothing, not the product. Don't watch QVC much any more. I used to watch a lot and bought too much. A lot is too expensive now too.
I am disgusted too especially when shawn and Jane lie about their size most annoying hosts and what a shame leah has put all her weight on and their prices are so high
When Joan Rivers died my QVC watching went way down! I wrote her an email one time when they had her on in the wee hours of the morning and I told her I felt they were being disrespectful to her to schedule her at such a bad time. She sent me an autographed picture of her! I miss her so much!
I sat next to her on a plane many years ago. I had on her ladybug earrings, bracelet and one of her bumble bee pins (gifts from my Mom RIP) . It was so random but she was so excited . She sent me a huge box of jewelry , I still have and wear every piece. RIP Joan & Mom .

The younger ones do talk loud and fast like it's an auction house or the State Fair hawkers. That is probably not an issue with younger viewers. I also think they have to get people trained to take over for anyone retiring. My biggest issue is how expensive the clothes are getting, so I will probably just start doing my shopping in the store.

It’s also extremely annoying how they have hosts just “casually drop in” on other hosts shows to either “assist”, or say “I’m over on QVC 2 come watch.”! I absolutely hate it!! I love to watch Valerie Parr Hill when she visits and it’s sooooo annoying when they have new hosts because they constantly talk over her. Stacy was a news anchor and she needs to go back to that because she always sounds like she’s pitching a segment!
I agree with hosts just popping in on other hosts' segments. How annoying and rude. It's also rude when a host pops in and pitches a competitor product on the host original time slot segment
I use to spend money with the Q every month the quality was good sizing was consistent but I don't even watch anymore. When a company does not respect their employees they certainly don't appreciate their customers. The Q doesn't sell very many good quality items anymore and when they do the pricing is way to high!
I wish they would get rid of Rick Dolmeir (spelling?). I watched him with Valerie Parr Hill the other day and he was stuttering. Sounds like he has a mouth full of saliva. He talks so fast and is so hyper I think he is on uppers. He talks over people. I just don't like to watch when he is on. Getting rid of Carolyn and Dan was a huge mistake. These new kids on the block are not the same quality as the oldies.

QVC has no class anymore. I used to spend a significant amount of money on QVC items. Now the vendors have changed so much, and so many hosts have left. It looks much cheaper now, like an on air Target store. I have gone from multiple items a year to zero, and I no longer have QVC on TV just for entertainment/company.
Agree and no sense when you see him hawking women’s underpants and undergarments PoPaj was just too comfortable and looked ridiculous! Bad enough he and Rachel looking ridiculous and drunk most of the time when they do wine and food shows.

Excellent!!!! I cannot stand Shawn!!! I have been watching and shopping QVC, since 1986, so yep, I miss the previous hosts! I wish they would give Shawn the boot, she lies about everything she “sells”, and she tries to be like the wonderful Lisa R. ( she was a phenomenal host)

Kelly, sadly I wish QVC would stop with all the changes. One of the reasons people (used) to love it was for consistency. Now it seems like they’re just throwing things at the wall to see what sticks. I cannot stand the new hosts-Nancy, Stacy, Steve, Rosina, + Chelsea & Anthony(?)… good grief! It’s strange that they’ve chosen these hosts because many of them have annoying voices/inflections. Can’t stand to hear them speak. They’re all so obnoxious. I don't like Stacy and Steve either. Steve's voice goes right through me. I change the channel when they are on. Also Shawn Kilinger never says the correct price of the item being sold. She will say it's $58 bucks when it is actually $58.99 Also so tired of these hosts over selling the items. I will never believe that they wear half the stuff they sell. Lol
I have bought exclusively from QVC since 2002. No more the hosts, models, quality and entertainment anymore. Looking for a different company to look at and buy from. It is like loosing a good friend.
I thought I was the only one that thought she was another Lisa Robertson - drama queen, stares at herself in the monitor, thinks she is so witty, etc. Just not enjoyable to watch!
It happens in all businesses, unfortunately. I worked as a state worker in FL for 32 years, had plans to stay 5 more years for extra retiree benefits. Called in at noon one day, and was told "we're moving in a new direction, we're letting you go". I was in my early 50's. It happened to dozens of the older workers. Management wanted the younger workers who started out with less pay. QVC will only change if the viewers protest!!! I feel bad for the older hosts, they'll all be let go eventually. It's sad we don't respect the older work force anymore. Pathetic, and I bet their viewers are mostly older....
I feel your pain. I was a social worker for the state of Florida for 20 years. One day, out of the blue, we were told our agency ,OPG in Broward County, was being transferred over to a private university. We were no longer state employees. Our union did nothing to advocate for us. Thankfully I had my 10 years in and receive a pension.
@1313wikked I'm sorry you were also mistreated. I think I was let go so that I could not earn my DROP money. It was hard (no salary, I still had a mortgage, and my insurance went from $ 50 a month to $ 850)! What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger! Wishing you the best of luck with your future. ☺️
Don’t know about Leah’s new sidekick because I no longer watch the Q. When they started teaming up the hosts, I didn’t care for it. They talk too much about everything but the product they are presenting. What’s funny between the two of them in person is not always funny to the audience (you know, the ones who pay their salary?)! Anyway, I love Leah Williams. I believe they are trying to phase her out and soon she will be only a memory, like so many of the other hosts we all loved.
Sadly, MaryBeth will soon follow. It's just as well. QVC's stock has fallen so low and it's days as a 24 home shopping network are numbered. It's concept is old and tired, the quality of the merchandise has deteriorated, along with the bevy of "new-gen", politically-correct hosts that they've attempted to push down long-time viewers' throats. The days of quality products at a fair price and stellar, professional hosts, who dress professionally and talk ONLY about the products they are presenting are a distant part of QVC's past.
I have watched QVC since the beginning….I just can’t watch anymore…saving lots of money…I feel the same about the hosts…so phony….and no one is THAT happy and chipper. They actually HELP me save money. Leah is my favorite person…Carolyn was my favorite…stunned when she was let go. Haven’t bought a Denim & Co. item since. 😢
Absolutely ! I hate it when they dumped Mr. Dan and others that had been there for years. I don't like a lot of these younger newer host and dumped the other more experienced well know host. They are doing that to all of the hosts from what I have seen. Not just Ms Leah. I don't buy much from QVC anymore. Too high priced on many things.
The host they should be considering to drop is Jane Treacey. I get so tired of hearing about her daughters. She constantly interrupts the product reps and makes it hard to hear what they have to say. A friend told me that her husband has some QVC connections and that is why she is still on even though getting bad reviews.
I used to purchase many things and were happy with them. Now the prices have gone up significantly, to the the point the items are not worthwhile. I am buying more clothes from Nordstrom and Macys. I read that Leah Williams will let go soon. It is no longer a place to shop with the familiar host myself and others have loved and enjoyed.hg

I used to watch QVC many years ago they had good hosts now they are annoying. The prices are outrageous on most every product they sell, and the shipping takes forever. Not to mention some of the telephone employees when you call in to make a purchase they have no skills in talking with people, some are very rude, and have no knowledge of items. And don't get me started on "waitlist items", they take forever. UGH! I buy on Amazon now, and get fast service and a lot of prices are lower by far.
They are destroying qvc. Leah is my favorite. But I loved the other hosts they got rid of. I don’t buy clothes off qvc anymore. I do buy my IT cosmetics and Josie Maran body butter. That’s it. The prices are ridiculous for the quality. Plus tax and shipping and returns. Nope not going with anything I am unsure of. I am finding other sources.

I used to love Denim & Co. I have a barn jacket I bought from Denim & Co about 20 years ago I I still wear it! The quality is a fraction of what it once was. And the designs have gotten so frumpy. I think it’s the new designer/creative director. Overall QVC fashions are not what they used to be. The only fashion I buy from QVC is Dennis Basso outerwear. It’s sad.
And the PRICES!! Holy Moly! D & Co. prices have gone so high…lately I’ve seen them put lots of things on sale because, HELLO! those over priced things just AREN’T selling!!
Both QVC & HSN r not what they used to be. Quality has changed & not for the better & most of my fave hosts are gone. I hardly watch or buy from them anymore.
Not a fan of these new host in general. They got rid of some of the regular host and have flooded the channel with obnoxious people. It's gotten to the point where I don't watch the channel if one of these newbies is on. And as for the prices they have gone up a bit
I watch regularly and I do love Leah but Stacey is a very nice addition to QVC, she is professional and doesn’t act giddy and silly. I also notice nearly every day people complain about nearly ever single host, you can please some of the people some of the time but not all the time. I do enjoy QVC, I’m 55 and have watched off and on for years, the thing that is bothering me the most is the quality is slipping and the prices are getting way overpriced.
I totally agree with the comments regarding the decline of QVC. They need to get rid of that Lori Goldstein and her LOGO line...her clothes are ridiculous and so overpriced. I could go on about the new hosts brought in to replace my old favorites while Jane Tracey, Courtney, Jen Coffey, and others continue to prattle on.
I ve got you beat...I use to watch The Elegance of 18k gold with Jeff Hewson as well as buying J591 from Kathy Levin!!! Only saving grace for QVC for me now is Kathy is on periodically....I absolutely hate all the young chippies
I stopped watching years ago….i used to be a very loyal customer. I shopped for holidays and birthdays. The quality over time went down so much. Beloved hosts disappeared. I shop Amazon now.
I grew up watching QVC & HSN. Both channels have declined greatly. Mom liked The Q more but would tune in HSN when Colleen Lopez was on with Suzanne Somers, may she rest in peace. QVC was a staple. Temp-Tations has declined so much what mom owned, I sent it back. The cast majority of show host I grew up with are gone. I haven't watched in years. This sidekick, shadow host thing is deplorable. The change for the worse. Can't even find Polish Pottery anymore. Basically Walmart shopping now.
Have been a watcher/user/buyer since day 1. The older hosts are wonderful. The newer hosts are learning and a few have the knack. Jane has, in my opinion, just TALKS TOO MUCH is TOO FAt, wears TOO much makeup and yammers ...she could gracefully leave. Prices are higher and sometimes I send things back. Saturday Mornings ARE LEAH...and management should get the message! IF it aint broke, DON'T fix it.
I used to enjoy In the Kitchen with David. But not anymore. His new sidekick is not enjoyable to watch. Very narcissistic and into herself, not like Mary D is down to earth. At least once when watching the show David brags about her speaking 5 languages like she’s the only one. And also her heritage. Who cares. ITKWD almost me as a viewer. When she’s presenting I do not QVC.
QVC is now just another business and has made changes to please the business not the customers. That being said, they often pair people up heading into the holiday shopping season. They also pair people up when they are being groomed to take over their own shows (i.e. In the Kitchen with Mary). When they became part of HSN, so many things changed. They keep adding new brands with increasing prices that seem to be targeting the higher end customer. I saw a dress for over $700 last week, TSV jewelry for $1000, many shoes for upwards of $150 to $200. There's no reason to put negative energy on the new/upcoming hosts - they are only trying to make a living like the rest of us, probably dreamed of working at QVC and are happy to be there. It also COULD be that Leah, who has been on the air for going on three decades, might be considering retiring from the company and moving on to something else that she would like to do. It COULD be that the hosts are no longer happy with things and want to do other things. Even people who loved working at a specific job or for a certain company sometimes want to do other things. it COULD be that people working there who don't appreciate what was done with other hosts or how the channel has lost some of its integrity and veracity are either riding it out to arrive at some career goal or to earn a retirement benefit package. I miss the days of when a host might say something like "We aren't trying to sell you something, we are trying to help you buy something. If this isn't right for you, then stick around because there might be something else coming up that is" rather than "It doesn't matter what color you get, buy two or three of them". I remember when the hosts would talk about how they would be introduced to products and get to know them and those who created them and have the chance to try them out at home before they were presented on the air. They would allow the guest to present the product and they would not act like they are totally clueless over what an item's benefits are. It makes the hosts look bad and it makes the station look like they think the viewers are THAT gullible. I don't buy nearly as much from QVC as I once did and I don't buy things that are way overpriced (even if they are decent quality). They have turned Christmas Day into another sales opportunity, rather than previously with the staff sharing stories and traditions without item numbers being scrolled across the screen. I think the show Over 50 and Fabulous makes the women on it look foolish, not like they are having fun enjoying the benefits of being over 50. They get giddy, interrupt each other, squeal like teenagers who got thrown into a cold swimming pool, etc. I'm all for keeping a youthful outlook, but sometimes there is a line between fun and foolish. Just like I miss MTV, TLC, Discover, A&E, etc. the channel has transitioned into things that do not resemble the quality programming that they once were. It's pretty sad. It's also true that many companies will chase the younger markets, but in the process, they ignore the long time customers who WERE long time customers until they started to treat them as second class citizens. Anyway ... even if QVC had someone reading our postings, they are past the point where our opinions matter. It could be that a younger group is holding the reins and it has been my experience that when that happens, they lose sight of the long established, faitful customer that put them and their products on the top in the beginning.
QVC should work on lowering the prices. Why do they have to pay two hosts, when each can do their own job....this is ludicrus and the prices keep going up and up. I stopped buying! I watch for the entertainment!
I'm with you. For about a year now, I haven't watched any of it. Q=TERRIBLE V=ABSURD C=OUTRAGEOUS Used to be great. This may be the beginning of the end for them. I know it is for me.
I would like to know WHY when you’re buying several items in one day, they don’t package all those items together. Instead they ship everything separately so if you have to return anything, you are paying at least $6.95 for each return! Besides that, look at all the packaging (plastic) they’re wasting!
All the changes at QVC with format and prices have dampened my spirits toward the station...l rarely shop there anymore and the prices have escalated too much for my little budget.
I'm wondering if they tend to sell more with 2 hosts. I'm also thinking they are using 2 hosts as I've noticed they've cut down on the models. That's why so many hosts keep changing clothes repeatedly in the show.
I’ve noticed that for the past few Holiday Seasons, they have been pairing host together for shows. I’ve also noticed the trend of putting some of the new, younger host as walk ins on the experienced host shows. I assumed it was to introduce them to the audience. I guess they feel that most of the seasoned host are getting older, and they need to incorporate some of the newer host. Not sure, but I would imagine that the majority of QVC customers are more mature adults, like myself 😉
Since Lisa is gone barely watch anymore . Glad Jane is still there ,Leah ,and Mary Beth. Northern nights sheets were so soft the first time I bought them ,than I bought another set about a year or so later completely different , wasn’t soft at all . Tova also had to bring back original scent because they changed it to save money .but everybody noticed the Tova didn’t smell the same and people complained it wasn’t the same so they brought back the original Tova scent instead of putting cheaper oils notes in it to save money . Whoever is running it now is saving money ,but losing customers at the same time.
I was so sad when Carolyn and Dan were let go. Company said they left on “good”terms . By whose definition of good? Sadly QVC is on the same bandwagon a lot of Companies are now days. Out with the old, in with the new. But really, who has more $$$ in the buying opportunity. It sure isn’t the younger generation. One host I really have a hard time watching is Jen Coffey. The more I watch, she is so into herself, it truly is hard to focus on what she’s presenting. She constantly interrupts her guests, sick and tired of every other sentence regarding her upcoming wedding. Yuck! I agree that quality on some of my favorite brands has gone down and prices up. Forget about shipping and returns. In the past if I had maybe 2 returns a year but now sizes are all over the the place and even though I still wear the same size, several times it has to go back because it didn’t fit. I have learned to look at customer reviews as more important than what they say on TV.Agree that someone stated that it’s what the Company’s making $$$ , not what they they need to do for employees or the customers 😢

I have been upset with the decisions of letting long time hosts go saying they are over staffed while training new ones. I was so upset when they let Carolyn Gracie go. They put it that she and Dan Hughes volunteered to retire to.help others keep their jobs. I am thinking..if you are training new hosts then this was NOT Carolyn or Dans decision...it was the powers that be wanting new blood. There was no one better than these two hosts that had been with the company since the beginning. They chose to keep Shawn Kiplinger who insulted Martha Stewarts line then after firing her for this terrible act they brought her back with more training. Then in May this year she made ugly remarks to Sweet Courtney because she said the name of a new clothing line she was going to introduce. On camera she stated that Courtney was not suppose to introduce Her line. That was her job to introduce them. She was very ugly about it. Then someone may have said something in her ear but she suddenly said she would forgive her because she was a sweet girl and didn't mean any harm....WHAT HARM,. SHE IS STILL THERE WHILE THEY LET GREAT HOSTS GO. Are they trying to rid the show of people they consider old? I, like you, had my favorite show that I went out of my way to watch with Carolyn Gracie and Gary Gobin with Denim & Co. Loved that show. I think the powers that be need to reconsider how and who they fire. I rarely watch Denim and Company now.
I don't know how long you've been watching QVC, but if I remember correctly AM Style used to be hosted by Pat James Demitry and Jayne Brown together. That was maybe 10 years or so ago. You better get used to it - QVC is pairing hosts together on many of the shows now. Also Stacy used to work with Susan Graver as a guest when Susan couldn't be there, snd she's been a host for a year or two now. My biggest complaint with QVC now is that prices are so absurdly high on clothing that I refuse to pay it, and I'm sick of the hosts babbling about nothing and not taking 30 seconds to describe the item. David is by far the best and most professional host they have. I also like Rick became the two of them aren't just rambling on making me want to scream when is the next item coming out. The last year or so I've gotten where I can't stand to watch annoying Jane Treacy.
Pat did weekday mornings for years with Dan, so I don’t remember her on Saturday mornings. When I started watching in the mid 90’s, Jane Treacy hosted AM Style, and did until she left QVC for a number of years. Leah became the host after Jane Treacy. I remember seeing Jayne Brown filling in for Leah from time to time. Like a lot of you, I was addicted to QVC for a few years and spent way too much money. No longer. Oh I occasionally watch and may very occasionally purchase. I don’t care for most of the changes over the years, so que ser ra ser ra.
I recently sent an email to QVC complaining about adding this other host with Leah Williams during the Saturday Morning Show and said, “ you will ruin this show if you bring on this other host with Leah Williams.” First of all, the majority of women would never relate to a nearly six foot tall woman with no body mass,” QVC is targeting to sell to a large market share and they need a host that can relate to many and that’s Leah Williams. Please send an email and complain about adding a host to the Saturday Morning Show. 😊
Yesterday morning Leah said she isn't going anywhere yet and that Stacey was just getting more exposure or something along those lines! It was Stacey's last morning on am style. Yes, Stacey is 6ft tall and I noticed she wore black pants every time she was with Leah. Most of us can't relate to that. I shouldn't be ranting about this but it feels good sharing! 💟

They used to have an outlet here in PSL, Florida where I live & I met a few folks that worked there in the warehouse - it was shocking some of the things they told me & how they were treated! Have lost respect for the company!
I'm so disappointed in qvc. Gary Goben on Denim & Co. looks lost without Carolyn Gracie. All those who are trying to replace Carolyn who is irreplaceable look miserable and phony and you can tell that they don't want to be there. Also pricing is excessive. Bring back Carolyn and Dan. They are real. The others are so fake I can't stand watching. I usually mute the tv when I'm watching.

I felt the exact same way and my reaction was like yours. I had left the room and came back to find Leah was gone! I was so upset, I thought they've replaced her like they did with Caroline and Dan😡. I changed the channel but clicked back a while later and Leah was back on again. Fine if they are simply teaming Leah up with another host but if they replace her, I will stop watching. My fav hosts are Leah, and Amy Stran. Also, QVC has become very expensive to shop so I have cut way back on my purchases and hit Marshalls a lot more then I used to. I pretty much just wait for the clearance sales. Love your reviews. 🥰

I agree with all of you-QVC is not the same. Seems like when they merged with HSN the merchandise has become cheaper quality. HSN always had cheaper merchandise. The items they used to sell are no longer there. And most of the hosts are not likable. They truly have gone downhill. I used to have a package from them every week but no more. And you are RIGHT - the prices for clothes is ridiculous!!!!

I used to watch QVC every day 20 plus years spent so much money with them, and loved watching Saturday mornings while getting ready for work, Leah has always been one of my favorite hosts. I stopped shopping and watching altogether several years ago as the merchandise was getting low in quality, the connivence was no longer there, and the value is not so good as it's so overpriced.... so QVC is no more : ( Very sad
In my opinion, QVC has become Wal Mart specials. The quality of good, classy, and name brands has hit bottom. They just throw trash at people with high prices. I used to follow QVC exclusively, I loved the hosts, they became trusted friends for years. Now, they throw totally new people at we viewers every week, and they are not really good. It's like they're pulling people in off of the street. I'm sick and tired of "leisure" clothes, sweats, leggings. Even the models are few and not very professional. Their models used to be so classy. I'm getting pretty well done with QVC. Goodbye to a wonderful era of home shopping with QVC. Amazon's looking so good anymore. They've got good brands, and try it before you buy it with free returns.

One more comment......QVC wants a younger audience, but they forget who is their consistant audience. The younger buyers shop a lot online but it is your mature buyers who have more money and the time to watch the shows. They buy on trust and value. When Joan Rivers died my QVC watching went way down! I wrote her an email one time when they had her on in the wee hours of the morning and I told her I felt they were being disrespectful to her to schedule her at such a bad time. She sent me an autographed picture of her! I miss her so much!

The younger ones do talk loud and fast like it's an auction house or the State Fair hawkers. That is probably not an issue with younger viewers. I also think they have to get people trained to take over for anyone retiring. My biggest issue is how expensive the clothes are getting, so I will probably just start doing my shopping in the store.

It’s also extremely annoying how they have hosts just “casually drop in” on other hosts shows to either “assist”, or say “I’m over on QVC 2 come watch.”! I absolutely hate it!! I love to watch Valerie Parr Hill when she visits and it’s sooooo annoying when they have new hosts because they constantly talk over her. Stacy was a news anchor and she needs to go back to that because she always sounds like she’s pitching a segment!

I use to spend money with the Q every month the quality was good sizing was consistent but I don't even watch anymore. When a company does not respect their employees they certainly don't appreciate their customers. The Q doesn't sell very many good quality items anymore and when they do the pricing is way to high!
Every since QVC canned Dan and Caroline I am fed up. There are so many host I refused to watch. The powers that be are making big mistakes

I wish they would get rid of Rick Dolmeir (spelling?). I watched him with Valerie Parr Hill the other day and he was stuttering. Sounds like he has a mouth full of saliva. He talks so fast and is so hyper I think he is on uppers. He talks over people. I just don't like to watch when he is on. Getting rid of Carolyn and Dan was a huge mistake. These new kids on the block are not the same quality as the oldies.

QVC has no class anymore. I used to spend a significant amount of money on QVC items. Now the vendors have changed so much, and so many hosts have left. David Jane Treacy are really bad.
I have bought exclusively from QVC since 2002. No more the hosts, models, quality and entertainment anymore. Looking for a different company to look at and buy from. It is like loosing a good friend.

It happens in all businesses, unfortunately. I worked as a state worker in FL for 32 years, had plans to stay 5 more years for extra retiree benefits. Called in at noon one day, and was told "we're moving in a new direction, we're letting you go". I was in my early 50's. It happened to dozens of the older workers. Management wanted the younger workers who started out with less pay. QVC will only change if the viewers protest!!! I feel bad for the older hosts, they'll all be let go eventually. It's sad we don't respect the older work force anymore. Pathetic, and I bet their viewers are mostly older....
I feel your pain. I was a social worker for the state of Florida for 20 years. One day, out of the blue, we were told our agency ,OPG in Broward County, was being transferred over to a private university. We were no longer state employees. Our union did nothing to advocate for us. Thankfully I had my 10 years in and receive a pension.

Don’t know about Leah’s new sidekick because I no longer watch the Q. When they started teaming up the hosts, I didn’t care for it. They talk too much about everything but the product they are presenting. What’s funny between the two of them in person is not always funny to the audience (you know, the ones who pay their salary?)! Anyway, I love Leah Williams. I believe they are trying to phase her out and soon she will be only a memory, like so many of the other hosts we all loved.
Sadly, MaryBeth will soon follow. It's just as well. QVC's stock has fallen so low and it's days as a 24 home shopping network are numbered. It's concept is old and tired, the quality of the merchandise has deteriorated, along with the bevy of "new-gen", politically-correct hosts that they've attempted to push down long-time viewers' throats. The days of quality products at a fair price and stellar, professional hosts, who dress professionally and talk ONLY about the products they are presenting are a distant part of QVC's past.

Absolutely ! I hate it when they dumped Mr. Dan and others that had been there for years. I don't like a lot of these younger newer host and dumped the other more experienced well know host. They are doing that to all of the hosts from what I have seen. Not just Ms Leah. I don't buy much from QVC anymore. Too high priced on many things.

The host they should be considering to drop is Jane Treacey. I get so tired of hearing about her daughters. She constantly interrupts the product reps and makes it hard to hear what they have to say. A friend told me that her husband has some QVC connections and that is why she is still on even though getting bad reviews.
She would be devastated if they let her go, she thinks that she is loved by all!

I used to watch QVC many years ago they had good hosts now they are annoying. The prices are outrageous on most every product they sell, and the shipping takes forever. Not to mention some of the telephone employees when you call in to make a purchase they have no skills in talking with people, some are very rude, and have no knowledge of items. And don't get me started on "waitlist items", they take forever. UGH! I buy on Amazon now, and get fast service and a lot of prices are lower by far.
They are destroying qvc. Leah is my favorite. But I loved the other hosts they got rid of. I don’t buy clothes off qvc anymore. I do buy my IT cosmetics and Josie Maran body butter. That’s it. The prices are ridiculous for the quality. Plus tax and shipping and returns. Nope not going with anything I am unsure of. I am finding other sources.

I used to love Denim & Co. I have a barn jacket I bought from Denim & Co about 20 years ago I I still wear it! The quality is a fraction of what it once was. And the designs have gotten so frumpy. I think it’s the new designer/creative director. Overall QVC fashions are not what they used to be. The only fashion I buy from QVC is Dennis Basso outerwear. It’s sad.
And the PRICES!! Holy Moly! D & Co. prices have gone so high…lately I’ve seen them put lots of things on sale because, HELLO! those over priced things just AREN’T selling!!

Both QVC & HSN r not what they used to be. Quality has changed & not for the better & most of my fave hosts are gone.
I hardly watch or buy from them anymore.
Not a fan of these new host in general. They got rid of some of the regular host and have flooded the channel with obnoxious people. It's gotten to the point where I don't watch the channel if one of these newbies is on. And as for the prices they have gone up a bit
I agree about the crazy high prices! The clothing is overpriced and so is the food! Ugh! Buy very little now compared to what I did in the past!
I watch regularly and I do love Leah but Stacey is a very nice addition to QVC, she is professional and doesn’t act giddy and silly. I also notice nearly every day people complain about nearly ever single host, you can please some of the people some of the time but not all the time. I do enjoy QVC, I’m 55 and have watched off and on for years, the thing that is bothering me the most is the quality is slipping and the prices are getting way overpriced.

I totally agree with the comments regarding the decline of QVC. They need to get rid of that Lori Goldstein and her LOGO line...her clothes are ridiculous and so overpriced. I could go on about the new hosts brought in to replace my old favorites while Jane Tracey, Courtney, Jen Coffey, and others continue to prattle on.
I ve got you beat...I use to watch The Elegance of 18k gold with Jeff Hewson as well as buying J591 from Kathy Levin!!! Only saving grace for QVC for me now is Kathy is on periodically....I absolutely hate all the young chippies
I stopped watching years ago….i used to be a very loyal customer. I shopped for holidays and birthdays. The quality over time went down so much. Beloved hosts disappeared. I shop Amazon now.
The hold show sucks. Products have changed the prices are sky rocketing.
I grew up watching QVC & HSN. Both channels have declined greatly. Mom liked The Q more but would tune in HSN when Colleen Lopez was on with Suzanne Somers, may she rest in peace. QVC was a staple. Temp-Tations has declined so much what mom owned, I sent it back. The cast majority of show host I grew up with are gone. I haven't watched in years. This sidekick, shadow host thing is deplorable. The change for the worse. Can't even find Polish Pottery anymore. Basically Walmart shopping now.
Have been a watcher/user/buyer since day 1. The older hosts are wonderful. The newer hosts are learning and a few have the knack. Jane has, in my opinion, just
TALKS TOO MUCH is TOO FAt, wears TOO much makeup and yammers ...she could gracefully leave. Prices are higher and sometimes I send things back. Saturday Mornings ARE LEAH...and management should get the message! IF it aint broke, DON'T fix it.

I used to enjoy In the Kitchen with David. But not anymore. His new sidekick is not enjoyable to watch. Very narcissistic and into herself, not like Mary D is down to earth.
At least once when watching the show David brags about her speaking 5 languages like she’s the only one. And also her heritage. Who cares. ITKWD almost me as a viewer.
When she’s presenting I do not QVC.
I only watch AM Style and only when Leah is the host. I have bought many products, some with auto delivery! Leah is the best!
QVC is now just another business and has made changes to please the business not the customers. That being said, they often pair people up heading into the holiday shopping season. They also pair people up when they are being groomed to take over their own shows (i.e. In the Kitchen with Mary).
When they became part of HSN, so many things changed. They keep adding new brands with increasing prices that seem to be targeting the higher end customer. I saw a dress for over $700 last week, TSV jewelry for $1000, many shoes for upwards of $150 to $200.
There's no reason to put negative energy on the new/upcoming hosts - they are only trying to make a living like the rest of us, probably dreamed of working at QVC and are happy to be there.
It also COULD be that Leah, who has been on the air for going on three decades, might be considering retiring from the company and moving on to something else that she would like to do. It COULD be that the hosts are no longer happy with things and want to do other things. Even people who loved working at a specific job or for a certain company sometimes want to do other things.
it COULD be that people working there who don't appreciate what was done with other hosts or how the channel has lost some of its integrity and veracity are either riding it out to arrive at some career goal or to earn a retirement benefit package.
I miss the days of when a host might say something like "We aren't trying to sell you something, we are trying to help you buy something. If this isn't right for you, then stick around because there might be something else coming up that is" rather than "It doesn't matter what color you get, buy two or three of them".
I remember when the hosts would talk about how they would be introduced to products and get to know them and those who created them and have the chance to try them out at home before they were presented on the air. They would allow the guest to present the product and they would not act like they are totally clueless over what an item's benefits are. It makes the hosts look bad and it makes the station look like they think the viewers are THAT gullible.
I don't buy nearly as much from QVC as I once did and I don't buy things that are way overpriced (even if they are decent quality). They have turned Christmas Day into another sales opportunity, rather than previously with the staff sharing stories and traditions without item numbers being scrolled across the screen.
I think the show Over 50 and Fabulous makes the women on it look foolish, not like they are having fun enjoying the benefits of being over 50. They get giddy, interrupt each other, squeal like teenagers who got thrown into a cold swimming pool, etc. I'm all for keeping a youthful outlook, but sometimes there is a line between fun and foolish.
Just like I miss MTV, TLC, Discover, A&E, etc. the channel has transitioned into things that do not resemble the quality programming that they once were.
It's pretty sad. It's also true that many companies will chase the younger markets, but in the process, they ignore the long time customers who WERE long time customers until they started to treat them as second class citizens.
Anyway ... even if QVC had someone reading our postings, they are past the point where our opinions matter. It could be that a younger group is holding the reins and it has been my experience that when that happens, they lose sight of the long established, faitful customer that put them and their products on the top in the beginning.

QVC should work on lowering the prices. Why do they have to pay two hosts, when each can do their own job....this is ludicrus and the prices keep going up and up. I stopped buying! I watch for the entertainment!

I would like to know WHY when you’re buying several items in one day, they don’t package all those items together. Instead they ship everything separately so if you have to return anything, you are paying at least $6.95 for each return! Besides that, look at all the packaging (plastic) they’re wasting!

I’ve noticed that for the past few Holiday Seasons, they have been pairing host together for shows. I’ve also noticed the trend of putting some of the new, younger host as walk ins on the experienced host shows. I assumed it was to introduce them to the audience. I guess they feel that most of the seasoned host are getting older, and they need to incorporate some of the newer host. Not sure, but I would imagine that the majority of QVC customers are more mature adults, like myself 😉

Northern nights sheets were so soft the first time I bought them ,than I bought another set about a year or so later completely different , wasn’t soft at all .
Tova also had to bring back original scent because they changed it to save money .but everybody noticed the Tova didn’t smell the same and people complained it wasn’t the same so they brought back the original Tova scent instead of putting cheaper oils notes in it to save money . Whoever is running it now is saving money ,but losing customers at the same time.
I was so sad when Carolyn and Dan were let go. Company said they left on “good”terms . By whose definition of good? Sadly QVC is on the same bandwagon a lot of Companies are now days. Out with the old, in with the new. But really, who has more $$$ in the buying opportunity. It sure isn’t the younger generation. One host I really have a hard time watching is Jen Coffey. The more I watch, she is so into herself, it truly is hard to focus on what she’s presenting. She constantly interrupts her guests, sick and tired of every other sentence regarding her upcoming wedding. Yuck! I agree that quality on some of my favorite brands has gone down and prices up. Forget about shipping and returns. In the past if I had maybe 2 returns a year but now sizes are all over the the place and even though I still wear the same size, several times it has to go back because it didn’t fit. I have learned to look at customer reviews as more important than what they say on TV.Agree that someone stated that it’s what the Company’s making $$$ , not what they they need to do for employees or the customers 😢

I have been upset with the decisions of letting long time hosts go saying they are over staffed while training new ones. I was so upset when they let Carolyn Gracie go. They put it that she and Dan Hughes volunteered to retire to.help others keep their jobs. I am thinking..if you are training new hosts then this was NOT Carolyn or Dans decision...it was the powers that be wanting new blood. There was no one better than these two hosts that had been with the company since the beginning. They chose to keep Shawn Kiplinger who insulted Martha Stewarts line then after firing her for this terrible act they brought her back with more training. Then in May this year she made ugly remarks to Sweet Courtney because she said the name of a new clothing line she was going to introduce. On camera she stated that Courtney was not suppose to introduce Her line. That was her job to introduce them. She was very ugly about it. Then someone may have said something in her ear but she suddenly said she would forgive her because she was a sweet girl and didn't mean any harm....WHAT HARM,. SHE IS STILL THERE WHILE THEY LET GREAT HOSTS GO. Are they trying to rid the show of people they consider old? I, like you, had my favorite show that I went out of my way to watch with Carolyn Gracie and Gary Gobin with Denim & Co. Loved that show. I think the powers that be need to reconsider how and who they fire. I rarely watch Denim and Company now.

I don't know how long you've been watching QVC, but if I remember correctly AM Style used to be hosted by Pat James Demitry and Jayne Brown together. That was maybe 10 years or so ago. You better get used to it - QVC is pairing hosts together on many of the shows now. Also Stacy used to work with Susan Graver as a guest when Susan couldn't be there, snd she's been a host for a year or two now. My biggest complaint with QVC now is that prices are so absurdly high on clothing that I refuse to pay it, and I'm sick of the hosts babbling about nothing and not taking 30 seconds to describe the item. David is by far the best and most professional host they have. I also like Rick became the two of them aren't just rambling on making me want to scream when is the next item coming out. The last year or so I've gotten where I can't stand to watch annoying Jane Treacy.
I loved it when Pat and Jane hosted together. They seemed to be best buds and that made it fun.

Pat did weekday mornings for years with Dan, so I don’t remember her on Saturday mornings. When I started watching in the mid 90’s, Jane Treacy hosted AM Style, and did until she left QVC for a number of years. Leah became the host after Jane Treacy. I remember seeing Jayne Brown filling in for Leah from time to time. Like a lot of you, I was addicted to QVC for a few years and spent way too much money. No longer. Oh I occasionally watch and may very occasionally purchase. I don’t care for most of the changes over the years, so que ser ra ser ra.
Leah Williams is one of my favorite hosts. I've been a QVC watcher ever since there was a QVC!
I'm really picky about which QVC shows I watch now. I like the Valerie Parr Hill decorating shows.
I recently sent an email to QVC complaining about adding this other host with Leah Williams during the Saturday Morning Show and said, “ you will ruin this show if you bring on this other host with Leah Williams.” First of all, the majority of women would never relate to a nearly six foot tall woman with no body mass,” QVC is targeting to sell to a large market share and they need a host that can relate to many and that’s Leah Williams. Please send an email and complain about adding a host to the Saturday Morning Show. 😊
Yesterday morning Leah said she isn't going anywhere yet and that Stacey was just getting more exposure or something along those lines! It was Stacey's last morning on am style. Yes, Stacey is 6ft tall and I noticed she wore black pants every time she was with Leah. Most of us can't relate to that. I shouldn't be ranting about this but it feels good sharing! 💟
Leah needs a new hair style. Too much flat hair for such a beautiful face.
