Realistically, you can't manifest or will your way into a job, especially a QVC Host. You do have to meet some criteria, let's be real. A person who can't talk or improvise on camera will never get the job, no matter how much they pray or manifest or meditate. This should be explained or at least mentioned. Basic criteria and qualifications must be met to do a job. You are a national sales person, which means people must feel comfortable watching you, listening to you and be able to build a bond and some trust. Not everybody is suited for that, no matter how much you manifest, pray and think about it, and will it to happen.
Is Kerstin Lindquist still on QVC? thought she left in late December. I am looking at Susan Graver show now with her on there. surely they are not airing old shows?

If manifesting is really just willing something into existence, then why couldn't it be used for harmful purposes? I didn't find Jen's answer persuasive at all. And Kerstin just kind of blowing off the Christian view of all this was a bit disappointing. And there is a key difference between prayer and manifesting in that prayers often get an answer of "no" while Jen makes it sound like manifesting works all the time.
Agreed, none of this “manifesting” has anything to do with the Gospel of Jesus Christ , which for those who don’t know John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes on Him will not perish but have eternal life.” What is on trial here is whether Jesus’ sacrifice for sinners is enough. It is, manifesting will not save a soul that stands before a thrice holy God who cannot behold sin. This is the most dangerous form of false direction because it comes through likeable people (you know, like Oprah) Can’t marry Christianity with this

@ I agree with you. I posted a response about how manifesting is incongruent with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and my comment was removed. Coincidence? Criticism is not trolling by the way. In Titus 2:2 and 2 Timothy 1:13, 2:2 the Apostle Paul admonished Titus and Timothy to preach sound doctrine, to guard the faith, and to preserve it by entrusting it to others in order to keep false doctrine about Christ from creeping in and misleading the flock. It matters what you believe and advertise.

Good afternoon to my two favorite people. Happy New year to you both. This is so easy to say, but its so hard to believe this.
The sad thing is that people's personal opinions whether you agree with them or not, whether they are positive or not are often conveniently called trolling or bullying because you don't want to hear/accept it when they are just that . . . a personal comment or opinion or disagreement of thoughts! You have public platforms so you can collectively communicate, but if you continue to block folks because you don't like their differences of opinion - then that sends a message of arrogance & know-it-all-ism - doesn't that defeat the purpose of sharing & making an effort to see other people's side of things?!? This is just my personal opinion . . . Wonder if you will block or remove it?!?

Yes isolation is big. The pandemic really changed me and made me more scared of illness. I want to learn more about what holistic medicine can do for us. Not the big pharma companies.
Just read a few well researched books and watch some videos by people who didn’t come from sales jobs. You’ll figure things out for yourself.
Wishing you both many blessings in your new endeavors. This is a very interesting conversation. As a Christian, I am concerned when I hear the term “higher power”. Gratitude in the midst of any circumstance is definitely Biblical and praying for God’s wisdom and will for one’s life while He guides your steps is our paradigm as Christians. It would be helpful to know if Jennifer is a person of faith. Is she a Christian? She didn’t declare that when Kerstin asked her about The Secret, manifesting and how it aligns with Christianity.

@@a.e.7988 husband 3?! Wow! She gets around. I bet it's because she is just so upbeat, fun and positive in the beginning, guys fall in love, and when that wears off and they see her without her positive outlook they re-think the relationship.
I am adament about writing, recording, journaling, etc. because of a personal experienced I had as a young girl upon my mother’s death. My father found her diary/journal and shared it with people as a means of showing how much my mom loved him. Real ego trip.

If you read about manifesting it goes against the principle that we look to our Heavenly Father not the universe . This puts power into us . I’m confused ! I mean if you are manifesting through Gods will first for your life but I’ve read the Secret and that is not part of the manifestation. It is literally put it out in the universe. It seems to give more power to the person than for Gods will .
Agreed, it was all very awkward since it does conflict with Christianity, imo. And if it doesn't, I would have liked Kerstin to delve deeper and discuss that aspect more.
Me too and not being a troll I love them both but I’ve researched a lot about manifesting and Christianity and it doesn’t line up . Now you can stretch anything and I know praying Gods will and expecting him to answer prayer that is promised in scripture that says ask and you shall receive Mark 11:24 May be a type of manifesting but I too, was surprised with k strong Christian knowledge that she did not approach this part of manifesting and Christian beliefs
