@Lesane Crooks Thinking about what you said carefully. I understand your outlook, but don't you agree that this kind of cheerful way of teaching makes learning a bit more enjoyable to her students.
I can only speak from my experience in school. My teachers could put a crack head to sleep with that monotone form of speaking they used on us. The only teacher I had even remotely close to this woman was my high school biology teacher. He was anything but conventional when he spoke.
He engaged us with real everyday speech, not an audio book version of the textbook he was reading from. I still remember everything he said. In a world where students today know less and less.
It seems nice to know some kids are being looked after in a "Disney" type of environment.
Let's face it, they have the rest of their lives to be miserable and angry at whatever topic faces them in the future. Let them be happy in a place others feel forced to go to, or think it's boring.
I just think if more teachers were like this, we would probably not hate school as much as we did at their age. :)

When I went to private schools, one in pre-K and kinder and another in 1st and 2nd grades, corporal punishment was given but I rarely got it in the private schools I went to between 1974 and 1978. Teachers were older than this one. When I was in first grade, my teacher told me to draw a log cabin. The log cabin I drew was a bottle of Log Cabin Syrup. That was a log cabin to me. When I went on field trips with my private school teachers, I went in their cars. When I went on field trips during my public school days, I went in school buses like from the school to the zoo or a community parade. One evening, when I was in 4th grade, my public school special education teacher, who I had a very strong crush on, picked me up in her red Chevy Vega and took me to the school she taught me at for a school function. She had short blonde hair and sounded very cute. When that teacher taught me, I would hug her very often because I was so attracted to her. She was between 23 and 25 when she taught me. She's 68 now. On June 4, 1979, she visited me at home to take my report card and to talk to my parents (now both deceased). I was scared that she would set me straight at home.

Trust me it’s awkward for both the teacher and student. Try being the only one in class who actually answers questions and -gasp- asks questions! The horror! Thanks for being attentive, trust me when I say there are people paying attention even if it’s quiet. Hope your classes go well!

Not every class is a major in college you have to take stepping stone classes to get where you want to go
Just like anything else. Same goes for Highschool even.

Yeah, mean not in my classes because we’re upperclassmen and we take upper level classes very seriously but I get it. But trust some are listening its just very hard being at home. My home is noisy so I have to lock myself in my room but i dont have a desk. Being on my bed all day Is giving me back problems and making it hard to focus. ( finally just convinced my dad to get me one)
