Congrats on picking up the Pixel 8, I have it in the Obsidian color. Absolutely love the size vs the pro model. Compact with smooth edges and has a great feel and weight to it. Love Google's speech to text and call blocker feature. Look forward to more of your videos on this great device. Enjoy!
Have the Pro and tested the 8 in the store could not believe the micro stutters on X, Mastodon, RUclips and Google are apparently nornal on those devices. Camera is ok. But not the top. Still too much sharpening and weird HDR overdone photos.
i dont have any micro stutters on youtube and "google apps", i tried rly hard to produce it and i couldnt no matter what, minimized 4k60 and scrolling through others or without... on X its normal, even other devices tend to have these microstutters when loading media while scrolling except for the ios version, its just poor software implementation. apparently camera is top tier u can get right now based on multiple reviews and blind tests, unless u compare them with the new 2024 china released phones then maybe. cant speak about the sharpening, samsung and apple latest ones tend to oversharpen more in other comparisons. the hdr effect is cuz their ultra hdr feature which can feel over the top i agree but u can turn it into sdr in software easily
Because on Pixels after you take photo it has an option to share to social media but he didn't press it so the touch on the photo didn't get registered.

Because there was an overlay menu for social media sharing which he didn't know of that caused it to not respond, open your eyes

It’s definitely the best looking phone around but personally I hate the software. I had a 7 Pro but sold it within two weeks.
Me too! I got a Pixel 7 two weeks ago and I'm about to sell it.
I prefer the Samsung oneUI software which has all the bells and whistles and allows extreme customisation of my Galaxy S23+.
